We haves always stayed at the Argonaut and have loved the proximity to the Bay and all that brings . The hotel is in much need of a refresh , wallpaper is failing , moldy showers , just overall needs a remodel . The staff is always lovley , so that is a plus . There is food on premises , which also makes it convenient. Just needs some updating !

What a delightful hotel – a real hidden gem! From the lovely décor and welcoming atmosphere to the immaculate, spacious rooms, everything was wonderful. The location is perfect, with easy access to San Francisco’s main sights, and having Fisherman’s Wharf and the beach right on your doorstep was an added bonus. The restaurant served excellent food, and the barman deserves a special mention for his fantastic service and delicious cocktails! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Francisco. A truly lovely experience from start to finish!
