The restaurant is really good. The rooms have been updated, so they are comfortable. Parking is valet-only, and cost extra per night. That was the only thing I didn't like. We would stay there again.

The SoMa Social Bar that’s inside the hotel is absolutely amazing and worth trying, the hotel staff was super friendly but there was a little miscommunication regarding fees, the pool and gym were great, the gym was nice, and the parking was great

L'hotel si trova in una zona lievemente periferica, non distante da union square ma priva di servizi all'esterno. Ci sono molto senzatetto nei dintorni, purtroppo è una grave piaga a san francisco. La struttura merita sicuramente una ristrutturazione soprattutto nella camere al piano inferiore, il pavimento esterno era molto rovinato e sporco. Noi avevamo una camera doppia al piano della piscina. la camera aveva letti grandi e comodi, la pulizia può essere migliorata soprattutto nel bagno. Aria condizionata non presente ma non necessaria visto il fresco anche ad agosto. Piscina con acqua riscaldata, non nuovissima ma non male per essere in città. La colazione non è inclusa come riferito da expedia ma ti danno un buono da 10€ a camera che quindi non copre assolutamente il prezzo della colazione, andrebbe specificato meglio. Il ristornate ha hamburger molto buoni. Personale cordiale.

Showed up the bed had hair under the pillows, no hair conditioner, no hand soap. Floors needed vacuuming and the remote didn't turn on the Television. The food at the restaurant was mediocre, burnt bread and the water container had black mold.

Housekeeping service was poor, out of the 6 nights we stayed, only once did housekeeping come by. This was after asking for the service at the front desk. Overall state of our room was poor at best, evidence of water damage (warped baseboards in bathroom and what appeared to be the beginning stages of mold on the bathroom ceiling and on the room curtains) was evident throughout the room. The floor also had a tendency to get very damp, especially around the area by the windows.

The room was nice and big enough for a family of 4. We enjoyed coming back here after a very full day of travel. We loved having the sectional for extra space. It was too cold to use the pool, but it looked great! The area was a bit rougher than I was hoping for, but we didn't spend much time in that neighbourhood.

Room has some scuffs on the wall, no fridge or microwave, no A/C unit or screen on the window. Shampoo and conditioner were empty on arrival. But other than that, was a good stay, staff was great. They helped where they could and it was the perfect place to stay for the event we were going to. Parking was also rather nice and ended up being cheaper than it was advertised online so that was a nice surprise!

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Soma House. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the impression created by the photos and descriptions online. The surrounding area felt very unpleasant and unsafe. There were drug users around the property, and we did not feel comfortable taking an evening walk or even walking to a nearby store. Parking was also a major issue. There was essentially no convenient parking available unless we paid for the hotel’s valet service, which was extremely expensive. The condition of the hotel itself was also disappointing. Our room was not cleaned to the standard we expected and was not fully stocked. The elevators and hallways were noticeably dirty and did not feel well maintained. Unfortunately, the customer service made the experience even worse. The front desk staff were not welcoming or friendly, and we did not feel that our concerns were handled with the level of professionalism or hospitality expected from a hotel. Overall, I feel that the hotel’s online photos are very misleading and do not accurately represent the actual condition or experience of staying there. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Soma House and would not stay there again.

Struttura con ingresso su strada carina ma il quartiere dietro era orribile. Non siamo usciti la sera e abbiamo ordinato una pizza in camera . La camera era abbastanza pulita ma il resto della struttura compreso l’ascensore era sporca!!! Bella la piscina. Non mi è piaciuto il parcheggio perché devi lasciare le chiavi a loro , non c’è un cancello però c’è la scritta che non si prendono la responsabilità in caso di danni e furti! E non è economico . Chiedono una cauzione di 200 dollari per il tipo di struttura e’ troppo!!

The staff is very nice and helpful but the lobby and rooms smell like urine as soon as you walk in. The hotel is also in a very undesirable neighbourhood with a lot of sketchy activity so be very cautious; they don’t bother you but just be aware.
