For accessibility, there is one step to get into the building, and the elevator is small, which seems typical in these older buildings. Not sure if you could get a wheelchair in there. The hotel is very near to several restaurants, bakery, and a gelataria. For sandwiches, I recommend La Piadora. For excellent passed on salads I recommend Ristorante Vineria di Piazza."
