The next town with a small supermarket and bar (Castel Rigone, very charming) is a 12-minute drive away. There is also a nice outdoor swimming pool nearby. "Absolutely perfect. The house is immaculate, a tasteful blend of traditional and contemporary and still eminently functional. The owner should be very proud of what he has created here, he has impeccable taste and his attention to detail to ensure the comfort of his guests is an example to others. He is also an excellent host, charming, warm and genuinely concerned as to your comfort. The garden has to be at least an acre and is absolutely beautiful and not surprisingly well maintained. "Franca the host went above and beyond! She helped us every step of the way and checked in with us often to make sure we had everything we needed. We also had her prepare a meal for us and our extended family 20 people and it was our favorite meal of our trip ! Everything was so fresh and so wonderful ! "The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
