The turn off to the rental from the main road is further west than Google shows on SP73. The nearest market is 30 km. "We had a wonderful holiday at Podere Gualpoli. The villa is well-appointed with everything we needed to cook a few meals and relax outside of Florence. My family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The views are incredible! Annamaria and Simone were so welcoming. There were lovely welcome gifts and fresh eggs. Azzurra is such a lovely woman, very helpful and provided a beautiful house for us to stay in with everything you would ever need. Hairdryer, washing machine, dryer, iron & board, everything. "Very quiet place off the beaten track. You need a car to get to town. Owner was very nice and helpful. Apartment is small but has everything that is needed. To get to the bath room at night is a little challenging but we managed. We would rent it again if we come to the area."

"This property is 45min bus ride from the city center of Florence. Originally when i booked it (being a tourist from Canada) things seemed close. This shouldn't you discourage you from booking as it is a beautiful campground with a pool, restaurant, minimarket, playground and more. Our trip was tight on time so the hour bus ride to and from this accommodation (to get to city of Florence) isn't ideal for all. It should not stop you from booking but rather information to be known about. "
