"Due to the rain we had a ton of bugs in the room. It was kinda gross. Otherwise things were great! Also the road up to the resort was very brutal. Luckily our driver was a good sport."

"The place is absolutely lovely, right next to a beautiful river and surrounded by forest. In general it’s quiet, yet the music from the bar was a bit high at times. Breakfast was very basic. The cabin was very nice, generally comfortable but lacking cabinets to store our clothes. The cabin also was not super clean. I would certainly consider staying there again, but I think the price we paid was too high for the quality of the products, services and amenities received. "

"Room was tiny but clean. Mattress however was very old, saggy, uncomfortable and I think it had bed bugs. As soon as I lay down wherever my skin touched the mattress I could feel bugs biting me. They were not in the room, they were clearly from the mattress. It was so bad I had to try and put anything between me and the mattress, and felt itchy and crawly. "This property is an oasis. There was fruit growing everywhere. The differences of plants and trees is like nothing we saw while in Costa Rica. Very memorable and our host was very helpful throughout the whole time we were there. FYI when they say you need 4x4 there are not joking around. We had a rental that had 4x4 and the road still made my stomach drop. Worth it if you can get to it."
