Poas La Paz revisit.

Stayed in this Hotel before several years ago because of it's location and restaurant. Near the Poas volcano and La Paz Water Fall Lodge which we visited. During our stay experienced several tremors from a nearby earthquake not serious though.

Neuwertig gemütlich mit Charme!

Sehr sauberes und neuwertiges Hotel mit Charme! Die Zimmer sind gemütlich. Das Bad neu renoviert. Das Personal ist herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant bietet gute Speisen (vorwiegend Steaks aus regionalem Anbau) zu fairen Preisen an. Die Gegend um das Hotel lädt zum Erkunden ein. Sehr nette Menschen! Zudem liegt das Hotel 10min vom Nationalpark Vulkan Poas entfernt.

It is quite dated and smells musty. It also needs a deep clean if not a complete reno. Heating is with either a wood burning fireplace with no screen or a space heater. We did not feel safe with the fireplace.

Beautiful place, with an amazing restaurant. We stayed there to visit the Poas volcano in the morning. The TV system in our room didn't work but we didn't miss it much.

Proximité du volcan Poas A cet endroit il fait froid et il n'y a pas de chauffage. Il y avait un foyer mais la cheminée était obstrué, la fumée c'est retrouvé à l'intérieur de la chambre

I wouldn’t stay here if they paid me. It is freezing and no heat in the rooms. Toilet, shower broken. They gave boards with nail instead of log for fireplace which burned out in a few hours and we were freezing all night. Woke up with head cold. Toilet is broken and doesn’t stop leaking water. Shower doors have to be lifted to move since the slider is broken. Bed is too small (6 ft - 85!kg) with either the head banging on board or feet hanging off. On plus side, the staff is excellent.

Good friendly family run hotel.

Our stay was good and we had a good time. Initially we had a problem with Credit card payment, and several attempts did not go through. Then there were multiple payments against the card. With the help of Hilary, this was resolved quickly. The restaurant was great and the location very peaceful. Recommend this hotel for access to Poas Volcano. The hotel is very well situated for access to the important venues to visit.
