This is a secluded property tucked away in a residential area. A restored historic mansion and compound with a history that has been retained with limitless charm. Everything was perfect. The restaurant serves healthy and fresh California fare with excellent service. We will certainly stay here again!

Nice large rooms. Pool and hot tub are well maintained and earm/hot. Hotel is in a neighborhood so to access to other restaurants you need to drive. Restaurant on site is very good and well priced with a variety of selections. Take a tour of the mansion as there is a lot of San Jose history to be learned.

Great facility. Clean rooms and pool. Nice staff. The only downside was we booked the hotel because it had a restaurant with a breakfast menu, but when we got there they only had buffet style $15 for cold food and $28 for hot food. Parking was $22/day and the lot was full so you might have to walk a bit to your room.

We only stayed here 1 night, but it was a very comfortable stay. Very nice and quiet with large, comfortable rooms. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool. It was small but quiet. Did not try the restaurant but appreciated the small touches such as filtered water machines in hallway. Would stay there again!

From check-in, everything went great. The gentleman who checked us in was kind, knowledgeable, and overall a joy to have encountered. The check-in process was fast and easy. Once we received our keys, we went to our room which was really nice. Our stay overlapped the stay of a big soccer team and we were actually staying in the building that they were accessing. Security was amazing, they treated us as guests and we were able to roam freely (just had to show our room key). Everyone was absolutely great. We are big fans of this soccer team and were very pleased with how we were treated. The property is amazing, it’s big - easy to get lost honestly. But it’s beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hayes Mansion. The room was nice and cool, and the pool was a highlight! We especially loved all the winding, wide hallways, alcoves, seating areas, game room, verandas, and exploring the grounds. It has a very majestic and whimsical feel to it, and we will definitely be back for another stay.
