"This hotel dates back to 1870, and while the history is evident, it is definitely showing its age. Our room was small, though adequate for our needs. However, the cleanliness was a bit disappointing-the lobby sofa was stained, and the guest room doors were noticeably dirty. There is also a very strong, rose-like floral scent throughout the lobby and rooms which might be overwhelming if you are sensitive to smells. On the positive side, the location is excellent and within walking distance of most major sightseeing spots in Siena. They also offer convenient luggage storage if you arrive before check-in, and the hotel is pet-friendly. Breakfast was also included with our stay."

Perfectly placed for the touring we wanted to do and walking the hills around us was beautiful the views just perfect. "Lovely house and beautiful gardens in a fabulous part of Tuscany. A very restful property after longs days touring Tuscany, and also fabulous for relaxing days around the house and gardens. The surrounding countryside is also fabulous with plenty of opportunities for good walks and cycling. Tiziana was the perfect host.We would love to stay again if we come back this way."
