We were in Siena for a short visit. The location right behind the Duomo was absolutely perfect! The apartment was extremely spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and so helpful. Breakfast was a nice touch. We enjoyed our stay!

The location was amazing right across the street from the Battistero and nearby Il Campo. We stayed in the family suite, and it was very comfortable for all four of us. Comfy beds and great water pressure for a 700-year-old building!

A jewel in Siena!

Amazing location, modern room with a great view and balcony, top notch service -Rita is the best! We loved our time in the wine cave below the hotel and the cafe, bistro and Enoteca were convenient and top quality ! We will be back!

Great location, next to the Duomo. Gorgeous rooms and very nice hosts. Only downside is that you hear all the noises coming from the street at night. So, if you have a hard time sleeping with noise, this might not be a good option. Other than that, highly recommended!

The staff was exceptionally warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for local dining and sightseeing. Their hospitality made us feel like we were truly part of the city’s rich heritage. Breakfast was delightful, with fresh pastries, fruits, and quality coffee, all enjoyed in a charming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury with authentic Tuscan character, Il Battistero Siena is it. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siena.

Comfy spot, great little find.

You can tell the second you walk into this lovely Bed and Breakfast that it has hosts that care deeply about their guests and their historic building. Our room was new with fresh everything, comfy and large with a very nice little balcony overlooking some of Siena's beautiful rooftops. Rita who greeted us offered to take us to the secret passage way of Pope Alexander, the next day. It was a fascinating bit of history in this wonderful old building. We were treated so well with restaurant reservations, tips on day trips and overall helpfulness. Thank you all for a wonderful 4 days in Siena.

Authentic home of where Pope Alessandro stayed or lived. The front desk staff very helpful and nice. It’s rustic but still clean. Centrally located. We didn’t have real hot water but didn’t mention and they were so upset about it. It’s a little noisy outside but totally worth it to be in such a great area and be part of the history.

This hotel is right outside the back of the church. A Pope once lived in it back in the 16th century. What is great is the location & convenience. There is a little noise from all the tourists walking buy, but not an issue when sleeping at night. It‘s a tiny place - i think it has 7 rooms, so don‘t expect much selection for breakfast. Sienna is beautiful and I will definitely stay here the next time I am in town.
