"The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent the interior was. There are several common areas including a full kitchen and all are well maintained and well thought out. Very beautiful."

"My sister and I traveled for the first time to Costa Rica and chose this hotel for the location(next door to the national park and beach). It's a smallish hotel made from recycled shipping containers. Do not let this dissuade you. It was very cool, well thought out and plenty of room. The pool and the rooms look over the ocean. We saw more wildlife from our balcony than in the national park! Toucans, monkeys(watch out), giant blue butterflies, deer, and macaws. The clue is to slow down and be aware and enjoy where you are.
The best part of this hotel is the staff. They are kind, thoughtful, and took such great care of us! JC and the restaurant folks were so kind and fun. It was always nice to come back to the restaurant and have a familiar face. The grounds crew always said hello and bye and would wave. They drove us and our luggage up(up in an understatement) to our building in a golf cart. Life saver! And our housekeeper made sure we were well stocked with coffee. This little act meant more than one would imagine. My sister who has chronic health problems has a difficult time eating and drinking anything. The one thing that makes her feel better for a few minutes is a cup of coffee. Roxanne noticed we were drinking quite a bit of coffee and even if we didn't need our room cleaned she made sure we had coffee pods. Such wonderful acts of kindness that I know I can't include them all. But thank you for making this trip unforgettable. I'll be back"
"I knew I was going to love this place and I did! The rooms are cool and so different. The pool and grounds are immaculate. Everyone that works there is so friendly! I had a problem with my car rental and the guy at the front desk offered any help he could. There is only ONE tiny issue I had, but no big deal at all. They have a decorative mosquito netting over your bed which is so nice, but the frame blocks the tv, so whatever angle on the bed you lay, you can’t really watch tv. Like I said not a big deal, and oh, the BEACH! Not even a 5 minute walk to the most amazing beach!"
"I don't even know where to start. This place was PERFECTION! The staff in the entire hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, I feel that they are all our friends now. The food at the restaurant is amazing, people come visit from outside the hotel just to dine at the restaurant. The pools are sooo nice, and that is a highlight for me because my husband hates getting into pools, I literally had never seen him enjoy a pool the was he did in this hotel. We didn't have to share it with other guests when we went in and it just feels very peaceful and the views are breathtaking. The day we checked out I literally thought he would not get out of the pool so we could leave. The servers at the restaurant and pool bar were very nice and we enjoyed having conversations with them, Abraham, Anthony and Ricardo. The bell guys, the tour guide, our concierge, it just feels like they're all a family. The room was super comfortable and spacious, we had a view even from the shower with a giant window, plus a balcony and a huge rooftop for ourselves. They offer a complimentary tour of the property that is about 6 acres of preserved forest where you can see monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, among many other birds and species."
"Breakfast was very delicious and photogenic. The garden and the swimming pool was beautiful. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool everyday during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel for family."
"Great location, great views. Room needed some repair. Shower had mold in the corners. The vanity had significant water damage that caused the wood to swell. Overall enjoyed the property and would stay there again."
"The views from Mountain Top are incredible. We could see monkeys, toucans, macaws and more from our balcony and the hotel's restaurant. It's so close to the national park but has its own jungle on site. Jose, the hotel's wildlife guide, was fab - he took us on two guided tours and wad always excited to spot animals and tell us more about them.
Would definitely recommend this hotel if travelling to Manuel Antonio and try to book the ocean view if you can"
