This is my third time staying at the property. My room this stay was not like the other two rooms I stayed in, the bathroom ceiling was stained, the shower dripped for a few hours after we showered and the shower door was rusted and some of the furniture was looking very worn.

The hotel is conveniently located near US-101 and it took us less than 10 minutes to get to downtown San Luis Obispo. The room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was surprisingly good with waffle machines and great coffee. Free parking was nice too as some hotels in the area charge for parking.

It was fine except for being awakened early Sunday morning by fire alarms and a total evacuation of the hotel. I booked this trip for my wife of 47 years as a gift for all of the serious health issues she has been dealing with. Quite honestly it was an awful experience particularly for her.
