"A comfortable house with all the amenities. Excellent hosts (Davide and his father) who are always available, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Locals prepared dinner two nights - excellent. Mid-stay cleaning was thorough. And the house cat provided warm welcomes every morning. The 30-minute drive from Pistoia is exciting. A very winding, curvy assent. At night, one needs to be very careful. There are few good restaurants nearby which means preparing evening meals at home or traveling the mountain at night to/from Pistoia. Weather limited our use of the expansive pool -- but the grounds are quite nice and well cared for. Had a great time. Highly recommend this rural location. "

"Villa Parri is a beautiful well-preserved villa with amazing architecture and lovely surroundings. So friendly and helpful at the front reception. Great suggestions and helped us with the best places to park and see. It is off the beaten path so, with the exception of the amazing restaurant onsite, you have to drive to go anywhere. Of course the trade off is a small piece of serenity and quiet in a stunning villa."

"Absolutely beautiful property in an idyllic location surrounded by greenery. Staff were welcoming and helpful, breakfast was absolutely delicious and a real highlight each morning. The swimming pool area was lovely although watch out for mosquitoes! Would definitely return."

"We had a lovely couple of weeks at Jacopo’s house. The house has been beautifully restored and set in an olive grove and vineyards. The house is relatively remote but within easy 10mins drive to towns. A car is essential for a stay at this property. Jacopo was a great host and readily available if we needed him, and gave great tips and advice vice on places to visit. We would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. "

"This was a joyful holiday stay. The apartment is spacious enough for two. And extremely well equipped. The location was delightful and surrounded by olive trees. The owner made the stay even better by being friendly, but not constantly 'checking on us'. There was the added bonus of the owner's dog wanting to sit with us while we sipped Tuscan wine in the shade in the afternoon. He wasn't 'in the way' he just wanted to be around humans. :-) The ONLY negative I can say is that the road up to the house is a very Tuscan mountain switchback road... and we'd rented a small SUV which was a tad 'tight' in spots. :-)"
