"We had a small wedding here in the first week of October, and everything about this villa exceeded our expectations! To start, the property and surrounding area is unbelievably beautiful. Barga and Castelnuovo are hidden gems that had great restaurants and sights to visit. The property itself is nestled on the side of the mountain, and has stunning views of the valley. Our favorite was the morning fog that rolls in! The villa itself was perfectly updated, while retaining its Tuscan charm. We were able to comfortably fit family and friends in the individual apartments that allowed for hanging out but privacy also. However the best part of our stay at the villa was interacting with the owner, our wedding coordinator Marie (through Tuscan retreats), and the staff. They immediately treated us like family and were extremely generous! They cooked our wedding reception dinner as well as the pizza night. The food was up there with some of the best meals we’ve ever had, and the service felt like fine dining! They were so understanding and gracious with all of the chaos that comes with a wedding, and for that we’ll be forever grateful.We highly recommend this property to anyone thinking about getting off the beaten path in Tuscany, we certainly can’t wait for our next visit!"

The villa was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.Our children especially loved the alpacas, chickens, and tortoises. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, even leaving us a delicious homemade cake on arrival.The nearby villages are quiet but charming and worth visiting.
