"La Capanna is the most beautiful villa with wonderful grounds and pool area. The living accommodation is immaculate and well equipped. We had our children ranging from 12-22 with us who loved the pool and wondering into Riana for bread and cheese. Plenty of fun things to do in the surrounding area as well. I recommend canyoning with Toscana Canyon adventures if you have older children. Hennie was there to meet us and on hand for anything we needed. We chose to eat at the villa each night and...

"Nice and clean. Rustic house with a cosy jacuzzi. You have a 20 minute car ride up the mountains. It's super quiet up there, if you want some piece. 50 minute car ride to Lucca, beautiful city, not to miss out. Landlord was very nice and courteous"

"Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. Highly recommend."

"Abbiamo soggiornato 15 giorni in 4 persone ( e due cani) ad agosto 2025. La casa è molto bella,, confortevole, ben attrezzata, molto pulita e si trova in una buona posizione per raggiungere vari posti della Garfagnana e inoltre è vicino, non più di 2 minuti a piedi, al supermercato, macelleria, bar e farmacia. il giardino è molto carino e la tettoia in legno vicino al barbecue è fornita di tavolo e sedie che ci ha permesso di fare bellissime cene all'aperto. Mario è gentilissimo e risponde...

"Very nice house! Beautiful big garden, completely private. The house is big with a bit of a strange layout (like two kitchens) but also two bathrooms. The owners welcomed us very friendly. It was just a bit difficult to communicate: unfortunately we don't speak Italian. The house was difficult to find because the location data (like the GPS coordinates) are in the village and not of the house. The correct data are: 43.939180, 10.416290"

"Paolo’s property was perfect for me and my family. It is clean, spacious and very well presented. It is a perfect location for exploring the Garfagnana region and close to plenty of local amenities.
