This Palazzo is an art piece in itself! The art work on the walls, the frescoes in the room, not mentioning that it has one of the oldest/ preserved working kitchens in Italy! The rooms are big and comfortable and the breakfast is amazing and they can accommodate you based on your food needs! We had a wonderful time here and we would recommend this place anytime, especially if you want to feel like the nobles used to feel like back in the day!

Anje and Nick are the owners and are warm, welcoming and can’t do enough for you. All day they are asking if we are happy and what can they do for us. This boutique hotel is gorgeous from the furnishings to the art work, the pool, Anje,s dinner are all wonderful. The check-in staff at Hotel Orientale were helpful & very welcoming. They helped us with our luggage to Palazzo Berllocchi specially the evening shift. We also got a bottle of local bubbly as a complimentary gift. The room was kept clean, towels were changed. The breakfast was a big spread for fruits, hot items and great coffee. Staff in the breakfast room was very friendly & catered to the needs of the clients. Upon check-out, the morning staff helped us get a taxi to the train station....

When we arrived, these 70 somethings were a little unsure of the trendy decor and the fact that there was live music each night of our stay. However we were soon won over by the amazing young staff who worked so hard to ensure that we had a wonderful time. They were all kind and caring and always working with a smile. We loved our rooms and the roof top lounge. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay in Italy!

Desideria was wonderful. My train coming in had some trouble. She stayed connected with me the whole time and got me checked in at once. I had an 800 sq ft suite. It was great size. Kitchen was well stocked. She gave me welcoming wine. Cake and breakfast. This place is great to be a base to explore Lecce and region. I can't think of any negative! You can't go wrong staying here. Btw, the place was spotless.
