The grounds were lovely and the swimming pool was wonderful to swim in each day. The views from the villa are stunning! Also, the villa is furnished with beautiful historic furnishings. We loved waking up to magnificent views over the Tuscany hillsides every morning. The property is remote - but that’s what we wanted. A train into Florence is only a five minute drive away. "The property is centrally located to the towns (Lucca, Volterra) we wanted to visit, but it is in the middle of nowhere. They provided us with a list of supermarkets. I think the one in Forcoli was the largest. We did eat at the Pizzaria nearby and the lasagna was good. It was nice to have an outdoor area to sit.The pool was nice. Good for families. Howver this property is not very good for people with accessibility issues. Lots of stairs and steps."

"This is a beautiful house in the hills just a 30 minute drive from Pisa airport. It was lovely to have ensuite bathrooms for each room. The pool was perfect for a small family group.The local village is around a 20 minute walk and you'll need a torch for the walk back. There are a couple of restaurants and a takeaway pizza place.It was easy to get a train into Pisa to see the tourist sites"

"We loved our stay at Borgo di Colleoli. A peaceful place with nice accommodation surrounded by beautiful Tuscan hills. Most tourist destinations are about 45-60 min drive, but it's worth it. I also lived the complimentary shower gel and shampoo infused with olive oil. Smelled fabulous."
