One of the best places to Visit if you are on a trip with your family.

The room downstairs is the most convenient if you have older people in the visit. Short walk from the beach, Cozy and good place for a stay.

Perfect location

Beautiful property in a quiet neighbourhood away from the touristy Huskisson yet only a short drive to town. Clean and tidy with all the amenities you could need. Quick and easy check in and check out process. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful view

This property had a gorgeous view of the bay from the front deck. Inside was neat and tidy. The bird life was amazing can't believe how friendly the parrots were! The property manager was easy to contact and lovely to deal with. Thank you for a lovely getaway.

Good location peaceful stay

This property was great it had a well equiped kitchen & everything you need to enjoy a weekend or holiday, it was very peaceful had a nice water view from the lounge room. Furnished beach style. Comfy beds lounge room & good showers. Gardens were a bit overgrown very bushy. A blue tooth speaker would be good to play music through. We would stay again & recommend it to friends & family.

Great time!

Great central location to nearby towns, close to nearby fantastic beaches and gluten friendly eateries (fish and chip store in Vincentia was great for a coeliac!) The property was very clean and was perfect for relaxing. Pet friendly, however we took our dog everywhere with us or took her to doggy daycare for the day that we visited the national parks so we never left her alone and always supervised her outside due to the wildlife (possums, large and beautiful python in the tree out the back as well as our pups habits of getting into shrubbery in regards to tics as warned about on Jan's ad) The town was lovely and peaceful, everyone friendly and helpful. Would stay again!

Perfect spot for a trip with your doggies!

Lovely property. Pet and people friendly. Great secure garden for dogs. 3 great bedrooms even though we only used one! Lots of supplies left in fridge and cupboard. Fabulous fire, with an abundance of wood. Literally 10 mins from Hyams Beach.......but also beautiful sunsets over the Basin. Finally, kangaroo visits in the street! What more could you ask for. We will be back 😃

Perfect

My family just spent a wonderful week for Christmas at Jans. The house is spacious, has everything you could want and more. Everything spotless, beds comfy, garden beautiful, kitchen fully equipped. We brought 2 kayaks but borrowed jans kayaks so that we could all enjoy Eworal bay. The only thing I would recommend is fans for all the rooms, even with the sea breeze it got very hot during the heatwave.... but that's just a thought. Can you guess we highly recommend Jans retreat!

the Rain and horne team was realy nice to deal with and up on arrival to the property we opened the front door and we got hit with a very strong smell of moulds it was quite a shock to start with, so we went straight to the top floor which was completely different spacious, comfortable and full of light which was nice, everything was ok kitchen, bathroom, loung, backyard and nice Barbecue, As it was only three of us the ground floor was not required but for a big group it will be unhealthy and uncomfortable, It was also nice and quite if you appreciate that atmosphere, overall it was nice and relaxing place and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice & Quiet but Close to Everything

Really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet and surrounded by greenery. Great proximity to Hyams Beach, Green Patch & Husky yet feel a million miles away. Large, secure backyard was great for dogs.

Charming and clean property

We had a fantastic weekend at Jan's retreat. The property was tastefully decorated and very clean. Lots of nice touches around the place like plenty of pantry essentials and a range of books as well as local guidebooks. Didn't get a chance to spend time in the garden but it looked like a great space and our dogs enjoyed it. Only downside were the beds which weren't super comfortable. FYI - you will need a car to get to the local places of interest - only local parks and the general store are in walking distance.
