"We rented this house for a family weekend away. It was perfect for our needs. This house was clean and well maintained. The owners were updating parts of the house, but were doing so in a way that still felt comfortable for us to stay even though not everything was completed. Everyone in our group was complimentary about the house, both upon arrival and at check out.We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this one was by far the most well equipped for a trip. We had everything we needed for cooking all of our meals in the house. The kitchen was large and recently updated. The open concept kitchen allowed for whoever was in it to still participate in conversations and engage with the rest of the family. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms nice (with plenty of toilet paper). Our children particularly enjoyed the basement space to play and watch their own entertainment. The only note we have is that the room in the lowest level (with two bunk beds) felt quite far from the rest of the bedrooms. If you are planning on children sleeping in it, make sure they will be okay sleeping two floors away from most of the other bedrooms. The stairs going down to the basement are very steep. This is not a flaw or complaint, just a heads up.We visited in the winter, after snowfall. The only challenge we had was that the streets/sidewalks were not well cleared, which made for some difficult parking in the designated spots and requiring extra precaution entering."

"This was the perfect house for our family getaway. We had an amazing time enjoying the basement amenities — both the kids and adults loved the karaoke and pool table. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance, dish, and utensil you could possibly need, which made cooking and gathering together easy and enjoyable. We had such a great experience that we already plan to come back next year!"

"Let me clarify first, the community management was super helpful and responsive and my review only pertains to this specific vacation listing.We got there after a few hours of drive to rest and chill, but the unit was a mess. Apparently the owner had decided that they tale care of cleaning the unit instead of management, and they didn’t do so! Management helped us temporarily stay in another unit while the unit was being cleaned, so we had to move twice and spend few hours waiting.The unit lacked some typical essentials that were available in all our previous rentals and we took for granted. Things like cooking oil, spices, soaps and shampoos, etc. and the grill ran out of gas on our second night after minor use. The communication was also very poor. We asked for an early check in a few days before our trip, management said they will check with the owner and get back to us but they never did. We also asked for late check out (check out was at 10 am) on our last afternoon, but they did not answer until the morning of our checkout.Overall, our worst vacation rental experience out of around two dozen experiences we had before."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved everything about Red, White, and View. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and cookware and we made good use of it, eating on the deck and enjoying the view most days! Our kids loved riding the scooter up and down the boardwalk and skipping rocks was their favorite thing! A short walk to the beach at the "big lake" was easy and not too hard for the kids. We came in October, so most of the ammenities were not open, but we loved just strolling down the walk way. Our kids loved the playground too - very fun and an easy walk. Beds were comfortable and the whole place felt clean and accessible. There were lots of games and puzzles provided. We had one issue with the TV not working, but the maintenance person came quickly to fix it and was very helpful and polite."
