"We reserved a private room for 2 people with private shower, toilet, sink. No mention of stairs. Also a kitchen for cooking given dietary concerns. When we arrived, there were 2 sets of stairs, ONE single bed and no shower! We called the property and no one responded. We had to find another last minute hotel at higher price and multiple transportation costs as a result. We would not take our shows off here, let alone sleep here! "I couldn't get in to the property. I arrived at around 7pm and put the code into the door lock and turned the handle only to find that the door was also locked with another lock I phoned the contact number on the booking confirmation only to find it was an office and nobody was there, so I left a message, I never had a reply. I rang Hotels.com, who were very helpful. But they were unable to get me a refund. I had not read the reviews for the place, but I sugest that if you want to make booking...

"Owner was super nice and very accommodating with our change of schedule (due to train issues). Place was clean. No A/C (that we were aware of), which we opened the window. Unfortunately, it was a Friday night and the people outside were a bit loud for awhile (not the owner’s fault). The only downside was we found out we were only renting a room when we arrived, not the apartment itself. Great location and close to the cruise terminals."

"Family run hotel. Owners were very friendly and gave us a room upgrade at now additional cost. Breakfasts were fantastic and in a great location for getting around the island. Recommended."
