Sandplace Station B&B

Fieldhead Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Brilliant Holiday thankyou. Staff more than helpful and very polite. They had a wifi upgrade during our stay and went out of their way to keep us informed on progress. Quite a climb up to room but Hotel is on side of a steep hill with amazing views from Balcony Sea View Rooms so you kind of cannot get amazing views without the steps exercise up to the rooms but maybe in the future a lift may be the icing on the cake? Room was spotlessly clean and regularly serviced. Continental breakfast had excellent breadth of products from Crumpets to various cereals to yoghurts to fresh fruit and croissants with a cooked breakfast option if preordered the night before. Rooms have a really useful and unusual self catering option with hot plates, kettle, fridge and microwave all built into a swish sink unit that is great for doing a meal or two or a basic breakfast to eat on the balcony. A rare possibility in any hotel. Thought the FieldHead Hotel was great. Parking was pretty easy once you initially find the steep entrance route in. Best to forget the car once you park up. Cornish Shanty singing in The Old Ship Pub in West Looe on Thurs Night was a traditional Gem and this fab little pub behind the Fire Station has timbers in its construction from The Sunk ships from the Spanish Armada and later additions in its extension from Timbers from ships sunk in the battle of Trafalgar! And the foods amazing there so check it out!"

Tranquil Fisherman's Cottage a Minute From The Beach with free reserved parking

10/10 Excellent

"Sandpipers Cottage was everything we hoped for. Location was excellent, especially with such good restaurants and shops nearby. The allocated parking space was not a problem with it being only a 10 minute walk. Would definitely stay there again."

Trehawke House

10/10 Excellent

"The room was super clean more than what we expected. My partner suffers with bad back and he was extremely happy with the mattress. No issues using keyless entry which we were nervous about at the beginning."

Luxury, Spacious, Beachfront (direct access) House with Breath-taking Sea Views

10/10 Excellent

"The location overlooking the quiet beach is amazing. The home looks even better in person than in the pictures. We enjoyed the pop art theme very much. The home is very well equipped."

Peaceful hideaway with scenic views. Hot-tub & dog-friendly walled garden

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect get away into the beautiful Cornish countryside.Lovely comfortable cosy cottage - with everything required to enjoy a prefect stay. Hot tub was lovely to have.We enjoyed the log burner on the cooler evenings. On arrival the host was very welcoming and we were presented with a beautiful selection of scones jam and cream - wine and chocolate and of course dog treats- a lovely touch. We also enjoyed a wonderful massage which is situated 1/2 mile from the cottage, a lovely relaxing way to start the day. The location was fine- we visits many beautiful beaches and would definitely book this cottage again, Thank you, our 2 dogs had the best time. "

“Seawards”. House with panoramic sea views, set directly above the SW Coast Path

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely house had everything we needed. The views are something special. Spectacular sunrises, sunsets, moonlight reflecting on the sea. Even a couple of misty mornings were very beautiful. The garden is also beautiful though quite steep for our old dog. He was finding it easier by the end of the week. Really good that lights come on as you climb the steps going up to the house. Mark was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with."

The Inn on the Shore

10/10 Excellent

"The apartment is in great position and is a good size. However it would greatly benefit a refurbishment as the kitchen, bathroom and all the furniture etc is very tired"
