They were very thorough in their instructions so you understood what was expected of you as the guest. They also have a great knowledge of the area and their suggestions were all spot on. Memories for a lifetime and we thank David and Joyce for helping make it happen."

"We arrived shortly after midnight and check in was easy. An envelope was waiting for me with room key. Completed my check in the next morning and we’re all set. Our room is wonderful. It has second floor for our bedroom, it’s so cool."

"Beautiful!!!!! Exceeded expectations! Quaint cozy cabin in a gorgeous spot overlooking mountains and Tamworth center. Totally privacy. Nature all around, plus everything that a person would need as well. Will definitely come back....also great price for what you are getting...we were only a group of 3 but many more can fit. Wonderful!!"

"The house was a great fit for our family in terms of size. The closets were also a great size and fit our needs very well. We especially enjoyed the game room, open concept and high ceilings were very pretty. A safety concern we did want to mention was the railing. We had a toddler with us and the posts in the railings were wide enough that a small child could potentially fall. While we always watch our toddler closely this could pose a serious safety concern and something we feel should be addressed. There were also several areas where the overall upkeep, cleanliness and maintenance of the home could be improved. We noticed broken drawers, doors that wouldn’t close properly and other areas throughout the home that appeared to need attention. The “clean” towels had a mildew smell. This was unpleasant and had us questioning if they were properly washed and dried. The living room furniture was also in need of repair and there wasn’t enough seating to comfortably fit our group. Overall, the home had a lot of space and worked well for our family but we feel that addressing maintenance, cleanliness, furniture and safety concerns would greatly improve the experience for future guests."

Shower hand held was leaking onto ceiling Open wires. Owner was responsive and friendly. Enjoyed our time. For high end prices, needs some finishing"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful retreat in its peaceful, remote location. We spent Friday tubing down the slow-flowing, crystal-clear Saco River before arriving to check in. It was the perfect start to our weekend. The home was immaculate, and very comfortable, and the lush green lawn was perfect for an evening game of Spike Ball, and sitting by the fire pit, The lovely mountain view is a 10. One of the highlights of the weekend was fishing in the private trout pond- both from the shore as well as from the canoe, which was conveniently provided at the water’s edge.We especially loved having both porches available—the screened porch was wonderful for evening card games, while the front porch was the morning coffee spot. The open floor plan gave everyone plenty of room to spread out while still enjoying time together. The bedrooms were also spacious and comfortable.There was plenty to do nearby. We visited the Tamworth Farmers’ Market Saturday morning, explored some of the local hiking trails, and took a trip to North Conway to visit Jeb’s and have dinner at Flatbread Company. The owner was immediately responsive and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were completely seamless. Everything about our stay was easy and enjoyable.We truly loved our time at this home and would happily stay here again. It was a wonderful combination of peaceful surroundings, comfortable accommodations, and convenient access to everything we wanted to do. Highly recommended!"

"This is a wonderful property for families. Brendan was super at communicating through our trip and helping to resolve issues. We loved meeting the neighbors and swimming at the potholes and the lake. The washer and dryer and plenty of towels was very helpful. The kitchen is small, but has everything you need to cook dinner for the family. It’s a very old home, so be ready for some endearing quirkiness."
