"Access to shops and restaurants is a very quick drive. The hotel itself was ok. The lobby and rooms on floors upstairs were much nicer than the bottom level where I was placed. I felt like I was in the bottom of the Titanic where the less fortunate stayed. There is also no pool unless you drive, which is unfortunate for families with children. The staff however were great for the most part. We came in for a hockey tournament "

The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms had plenty of clean towels. As a bonus the surrounding property was beautiful; rolling fields, the foliage, and a little pond."

Some antique , fine china, a few Art Deco glasses, paintings, maps of Squam Lake, numerous books and guides, an outdoor sitting area under the trees, and fantastic laundry facilities supported our busy group!"
