The room had a sticky floor, so we asked if they could mop it again while we went to dinner. The friendly woman, Bebi, who checked us in, took care of it for us. She is an asset to the hotel. The room itself was average, but we figured it would be for the amount we paid.

The good: Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Maintenance guy was very polite. The not good: Room is rough. Moldy grout around tub, furniture in bad shape, bathroom door so warped it wouldn't close. If you don't have any options it will work, but I would not want to be there with my family.

Overall, I had no real issues with my 2-night stay at Budget Inn; the biggest thing that came up was that the in-unit AC/Heater started to smell a bit "burnt" after I initially turned on the heat but that didn’t last too long. The room was clean, offered all the amenities you'd expect, and both check-in and check-out ran about as smoothly as they could. For the price offered, I thought Budget Inn offered an outstanding stay, as I've stayed at significantly more expensive places that weren’t as well tended to.
