"What a fantastic mini vacation thanks to this resort! We felt like we had the place to ourselves. From our warm welcome upon arrival to our departure, the staff here are awesome. Our room was so big, vaulted ceilings, 2 little decks with sliders. We had a 2 person jaccuzi tub and a gas fireplace as well. The bed was so comfortable too. We loved the amenities and used the Roman Spa, pool and ice machine. The resort was close to all the best restaurants and sites. Honestly could not have asked for anything more. Other reviewers do say that the resort is tired and needs updating. I agree that there is some peeling wallpaper, antique furniture and very low water pressure. But how much charm there was! I cannot wait to come back to the Meadowmere."
