Although cleaning was done regularly, the hotel itself looks very worn-out and so the environment is not very pleasant. However the hotelier rejected the confirmation and insisted that he needed to confirm it himself. As it turned out he had a room and we did book in after a half hour of conversation about how he needed to get hotels.com to recognize that he wanted to confirm"

"Fabulous, almost new boutique hotel with 7 rooms half way up the hill at the back of the markets. Owner was friendly and helpful, arranging us tickets at a local event. The included breakfast was small but sufficient. (just watch the costs associated with 'welcome tea' and 'breakfast coffee')"
