Beautiful villa and wonderful host
We had a fantastic 2 weeks at Cana Lua. Sandra was an excellent host, she helped us whenever we needed. We also did a great yoga session with Sandra and went on a beautiful boat trip to formentera which she organised. The villa itself is beautiful, practical and open planned - it is well positioned on the sunset side of the island. The track to the house is very long and I would recommend renting an SUV if possible. 10/10 - hopefully will be back soon!

Amazing home, Amazing host - just amazing
The property is beautiful- and the photos don’t do it justice - perfect for sunsets and chilling - we stayed here with our 3 year old and he absolutely loved the pool. Sandra is so lovely and helpful and answered any questions we had - five stars for location, house and host *****

Stunning villa, great location
We absolutely loved our stay at Cana Lua, my only regret is that we only stayed for 1 week. The villa is gorgeous, such a beautiful view and several different areas to chill outside, whether you’re after the sun, or prefer to relax in the shade. The pool was a perfect size for the kids (aged 3 and 7) and it was great to have a large grassy area too where we could play other games. There’s a lovely large table by the outside cooking area, sheltered from the sun, and a table tennis table too which was great. The upstairs room is totally separate from the downstairs i.e. the stairs are outside and there is separate front door. This worked perfectly as my wife’s brother was also staying at the villa and so he was able to totally escape the kids (and us!) whenever he wanted to. I have to agree with the other reviews regarding Sandra, the owner, who was lovely and so helpful. I managed to rip both of the kids' mosquito nets in their bedroom… word of warning if you sit on the bed without moving the net first! I expected Sandra to deduct this from our deposit of course, but she insisted not and just said, “accidents happen”. My wife also left a bracelet at the villa which Sandra is kindly posting to us. I believe the 2* review left on here translates to English as “precise driving directions in the dark would have helped us a lot”, which is not a review of the villa itself and totally unfair. The villa is at first a little tricky to find, but Sandra helped us on the phone and if you stick to the instructions Sandra gives you and just follow the track left, you can’t go wrong. If you are using Google Maps as your sat nav, as we did, then we found that entering “Can Xuxu” will take you to the dirt track for Cana Lua, once you are on the track just bear left (don’t of course take the right to Can Xuxu).

A wee slice of paradise
We wanted to rent somewhere where we could just chill out, relax and above all have total privacy for our 10 day trip in Ibiza, Cana Lua definitely delivered. The house is surrounded by the most gorgeous garden with everything you dream of, palm trees, a gorgeous pool, nothing to hear but birds singing in the back ground, the odd lizard to watch and of course a sea view to watch the sunset. We thought the house was beautiful, very Spanish in its layout, stairs up to master bedroom accessed from outside. The outdoor furniture was really good quality and extremely comfortable, this standard of detail was throughout the property. There was just me and my husband so we didn't use the summer kitchen during our stay but what a wonderful space it would be for a family dinner, we did workout that you could time your evening meal perfectly to watch the sunset from the summer kitchen. The property is about 10 minute drive up a dirt track road, we already knew this before booking. The first few trips up and down it where a bit of shock and we were glad we had hired a SUV but after a few days when we looked around us and seen the quality of the other villas along the track we accepted that this was the way things are in Ibiza. To be honest there were a few days we didn't even leave the property and when we did we were always eager to get back to our own private paradise. Sandra was a wonderful host. We stayed in early May and the weather was not good to us on the first couple days of our trip, the evenings were very chilly. We text Sandra and she immediately came to our rescue, her partner left us a wheel barrow of logs etc to light the downstairs open fire and a heater for the bedroom upstairs. The following day he left us a log supply, enough for weeks. In the end sitting around the open fire each evening with a glass of wine was a wonderful experience. We are now looking back at our stay at this property with wonderful memories and would highly recommend you book. xx

Ibiza Perfection
If I could give Cana Lua (and Sandra the owner) more stars I would! We had the most perfect stay here. The villa is in, what I think, an incredibly well placed part of the island with lots to do within a good distance if you have a car. We visited Es Vedra, Cala Vadella, Sunset Ashram, Cala Tarida, Cala d'Hort, Cala Jondal, Port d'es Torrent all within 5-15mins. Ibiza Town (Dalt Vila) in about 40mins but mainly due to traffic. The photos don't do the villa justice, its stunning and was everything and more that we hoped for as a family of four (two adults and two children 4 and almost 1). Sandra was a dream to communicate with and even booked sun loungers for me at a beach club that I was struggling to get in touch with. The property is down a dusty road, a fair distance from the main road, but the directions from the airport to the villa were incredibly easy to follow and this location means you have incredible views and surroundings. If you're considering booking Cana Lua don't think twice or you'll miss out. It was honestly one of the best family holidays we've had and I would book with Sandra again in a heart beat.

Beautiful villa with wonderful views
We absolutely adored Cana Lua. Sandra is charming and wonderful, she was very reassuring throughout the booking process, and met us at the house to show us around. She could not do enough for us, she did some shopping we asked for on our arrival, and even gave us a pot of her delicious homemade plum jam. She arranged for a lady, lovely Noemi, to come and do some light cooking and give us domestic help. The house is beautiful, with exquisite views. We are a family of six, and so we fitted perfectly. There is an upstairs bedroom with roof terrace and ensuite, and two lovely bedrooms downstairs. The house is cool and minimalist, with lots of doors opening out onto the lovely well-kept gardens, outdoor kitchen, seating area and pool. Everything is very well cared for and clean. The house is isolated and peaceful, set in countryside far away from the built-up nightspots of Ibiza. Lizards play in the sunshine, the clouds roll across the sea in the distance, and birds enjoy the garden. Our toddler daughter loved playing on the shallow steps to the pool, and our teenage sons sunbathed and swam. The pool is unheated, and a touch chilly for my taste in April, but the kids enjoyed it. We lit a fire in the evening - Sandra leaves in plenty of wood. Nearby Sant Josep is a lovely town with a good supermarket and nice tapas bar. We also went to Cala Vadella where there are several restaurants on the beachfront - during our visit in April, it was quiet and amazingly unspoilt. Also Cala D'Hort, and Cala Sa Calettta, where we had a great lunch with amazing views at the clifftop restaurant above the beach, Sa Caletta. There is also a restaurant at the top of the lane which serves wonderful paella, called S'Espartar. In Ibiza town we visited an amazing tapas bar, Can Terra. My husband and I had dinner at the upmarket Can Berri Vell in nearby Sant Augusti on Sandra's recommendation. To top it all, when I cracked the glass-topped coffee table in the lounge by putting a hot pan on it (yes - after a week of telling the children to be careful of things!), Sandra's partner came and replaced the glass immediately, and to my amazement they refused to take any money for it, saying: 'accidents happen'. We hope to return, and I can't recommend this lovely villa and charming hosts highly enough - we had a great time. Thank you Sandra for a brilliant holiday!

Nice and cozy retreat away from mass tourism
This nice retreat good for a max of 6 people has a nice garden, perfect terrace, is located remote. All equipment to "survive" is there, it's simple and expedient, not luxurious. The garden and the surrounding is perfect, it's quiet and safe. I would defenitely come back in summer time.
