Reasonable budget stay in Sant’Agnello

Stayed for 2 nights, staff were friendly and sorted issues quickly. The included breakfast was good and had an overall homely atmosphere. Downside was the air conditioning didn’t work properly and the room was quite warm.

The property is run Down and unsafe, no elevador, gate is locked, they insulted me and scream at me, dirty with broken glasses on the Windows and they are busy re tu g scooters and ignore cliente, nedless to say , i did not stay, they could not even find my reservation. This place is not worthy to be in expedía, took 30 minutes to open the door, if you check in late : Dear Guest Thank you for choosing Porto Salvo for your stay in Sant'Agnello! Check-in is allowed until 20.00. After this time, is a extra check-in by appointment. THE COST OF LATE CHECK IN IS 20 EURO AFTER 08.00 pm AND 50 euros AFTER midnight. Please let US know by calling the number you find on the reservation, the exact arrival on the day of your arrival, thanks Best regards Stay away from this place, is unsafe and they insulted me so I left.

This is the entrance, takes long time to open and the reception is filty, not even 1 star hotel. Nocked at the gate for 10 minutes and did not open , rango the bell and spoke thru the camera and after 30 they oponed the door.

Broken glass windows, a rin Down place, scooter and car rental place.

Bad condition, their pictures in expedia are touched up but does not look as they show in their pictures

Great location. Beautiful Terrace overlooking the Sea just steps away. Quiet area but 25min walk to busy Sorrento city center. Private parking on site with gate for a 10Euro per day fee. Decent breakfast and rooms were clean and spacious.

No pool but still nice

All was okay, except for the fact that the pool was out of order. It didn't seem to have been used for several months. In the hotel information the pool is mentioned as nice pool-area and that is why we chose this hotel in front of several others in the same price class. The view from our room was impressive though! All taken into calculation, we were pleased anyhow. The staff was nice, the room was clean, the breakfast was okay. The view over the sea was fantastic.

The surrounding area of the hotel was stunning, but my experience was disappointing. I had paid for a sea-view room with a private bathroom, but instead, I was given a room where the ‘private’ bathroom was across the hallway and locked—only if you opened the bathroom window could you see the view I paid for. When I raised this issue with the staff they showed no interest in checking my booking or helping resolve the matter. The hotel itself is in need of some care and attention- The bedding and furniture felt basic and low quality. While there are beautiful views just around the corner, it’s quite a distance from the main area. Overall, we were left with the feeling that we weren’t particularly welcome.

Porto Salvo was close to some really nice restaurants It had a nice pool to cool off in the heat and the outdoor area was lovely for relaxing. The rooms were tired and it was quite noisey. The breakfast was great. The staff were friendly.

Me and my husband, we stayed 1 night in Porto Salvo. Great location, sea just around the corner. We loved to see the family business running the hotel, the staff members were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a homemade experience! Small but very clean hotel, only thing would have been better if they had elevator for the luggage but overall we loved our stay there and would recommend it.

Hotel was very nice. Keep in mind that you’re in Europe and don’t expect the luxuries nor the amenities form the States. If you out it in that context then you won’t be disappointed.

Porto Salvo is a quaint B&B by the water in San Angelo…about a 25 minute walk from downtown Sorrento. The building is older and the bedroom was dated, however the bathrooms have been updated. Would have been nice to get fresh towels halfway through our 4 night stay. The room did have a musty smell but was fine after we aired it out. The breakfast is a substantial continental. There are lovely restaurants, bars, and a beach club very close by.

The walk to downtown took about 25 minutes, which was fine with my family, but it was a little out of the way. That said, it peaceful and in a very pretty nook of a neighborhood. The property is an old convent, which is super cool, but it does require a bit of exterior maintenance. The family room was very spacious and peaceful, though. The pool was a huge bonus.

This hotel is right by the ocean. Our family room did not have a view as the property is enclosed with a high wall. The location was very convenient, within walking distance to the train station so it’s easy to get to from other towns. They have a small above ground pool that is very clean. We were there three days and used it once. There’s too much to do in the neighboring Sorrento, which is also within 30 minute walking distance. They have daily breakfast until 10:30 but go earlier if you want selection. You’ll enjoy your stay here.

The location is great and they have parking for €10/day. Close to the restaurant with a beach. It has a nice garden in the back with benches and tables. The hotel advertises that it has a private beach but it doesn’t. You can go to La Marinella restaurant and rent loungers there or use their beach. It’s 5 min walk. Our room didn’t come with a bathroom. It was located across the hall from us and there was another room between us. This wasn’t advertised when booking the room. The doors are very loud so I’m sure we kept waking up the other guests every time we had to go to the bathroom across the hall. Also had to bring the keys each time to lock and unlock. The AC in our room didn’t work. There is a lot of hotels in this area to choose from.

This property is just fine for what we were looking for , it was hard to find the front gate as per the instructions, google maps and Expedia will direct you to their back gate car entrance which isn’t for guests. Their main gate is on the other side of the property (next street over) and says puerto salvo on it. I would suggest they include that somewhere in the description as we were kind of clueless when we showed up in the dark trying to find where to go! Only other thing was our bathroom wasn’t in our room, it was across the hall , our key was the only one that opened it and it was a great bathroom, just felt weird having to run across the hall to use it! It was not an issue but would have liked to know in advance ! Also I think we were the only room that had that scenario and also booked relatively last minute so that could have been why we got stuck with it lol The breakfast they provided was delicious , seemed like they were making lots of homemade items and everything tasted good including the coffee! The staff helped us get taxis everytime we asked so we really appreciated that! It was a bit of a walk to sorrento , but there was bunch of delicious restaurants near by and an amazing terrace to watch the sunset which we repeated with a bottle of wine 3 nights in a row! Overall happy with our stay and would recommend for a good room close enough to sorrento especially for price! Also their dog Luna is awesome!

this so called hotel is nothing like a hotel, it actually is an old church that has been used as a bed and breakfast place but tricked people on the hotel.com website by naming it a hotel. My husband and I have never stayed in such a terrible place, upon arrival we faced a large closed metal plate gate which we had to ring a bell to have it open for us then the bedroom's door had a handle like any regular house rooms' door , which opens with a metal key and can not be locked from outside so we were uncomfortable leaving the room and they offered another room that would be on the first floor with no elevator and a church steps that equals two floors. the ac was hardly cooling with a room that have high church ceiling and windows that are very wide and high with no screens and iron handles that were so hard to open and to close. there were insects and aunts in the room and a silverfish worm in the bed. the sheets were torn. the place was not quite, we could hear the other room's people talking. there was no wardrobe. no fridge, no telephone, no hairdryer. the curtains were so old style that there is a space between them and the wall that allowed all the light to be in the room.

Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig gelegen und nahe am Strand, Restaurant und Café um die Ecke. Nach Sorrento kann man gut in 20min laufen. Die Unterkunft ist alt, Duschstange war locker, die Betten sehr unbequem, Federkerne der Matratze waren ohne Druck spürbar! Das Frühstück sehr minimalistisch und immer das Gleiche. Außerhalb des Frühstücks war es nicht möglich, z.b.am Pool ein Cappuccino zu bestellen. Der Pool war zur Abkühlung OK aber nicht zum Schwimmen, dafür zu klein. Würde definitiv nicht wieder kommen-schade!

En cuanto al servicio del personal, todo fue excelente! Súper atentos, dan información y ayudan en lo que necesites. El desayuno casero lo prepara una señora muy amorosa (no preguntamos su nombre pero gracias, estaba todo súper rico), el último día nos dio pizza también buenísima! Las instalaciones son promedio, tienen un patio para poder relajarse y piscina. Las habitaciones muuuuuy pequeñas no coinciden en nada a las fotografías, con decir que nuestra maleta la tuvimos que abrir en el baño. Recomiendo pidan fotos actualizadas antes de reservar. Afuera cuentan con estacionamiento para motos, lo cual es muy cómodo. Agradecemos la atención humana, lo cual es lo mejor que nos llevamos de aquí (:

There was A/C but not working and when I talked to staff/manager then she said today is sunday and you have to wait for one day to fix it. Next day even they fix the A/C but still not working properly.
