Buffest breakfast was very good, the service was perfect and the coffee was excellent. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the railway station and 7 or 8 minutes from tbe town centre. "The website is a little misleading in that there is a notice that some rooms do not have an elevator leading to them. I booked a room that did not say no elevator service (second floor) and when we arrived, the staff was more than helpful in assisting getting our bags up to the room. I could have booked a room in the part that did have elevator service had I known the booked room did not."

"We had an enormous suite, I think the only one. The building is listed and very old with very high ceilings. the public rooms are enormous and one has f19th century frescoes. Clean and run by friendly helpful staff. The breakfast is limited but adequate. The place is full of character and charm."

The location is perfect, close to the train, bus and water bus, and an easy walk to all the main sights. We’d happily stay here again."
