"Very nice location with views overlooking the town on one side and the sea on the other. It was convenient having the car close to our room. We swam in the private beach, it was nice being away from everyone. The elevator makes getting to town/beach fast and easy. I didn’t realize the private beach however is an added cost. It is €45 per person, per day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it."
"The best massage ever! Rossella provided a great massage. She is also very spiritual and I felt she did a great job of removing any negative energy. Great start to the holiday!!! Thank you"
"Really amazing setting in historic Sestri Levante. This is a gem with a very Italian clientele and it should be respected as such. The location including both a private beach and a really nice, large swimming pool was perfect. Also a highlight was proximity (<10 min walking) to the ferry/traghetto landing to board for San Fruttuoso and Portofino. Breakfast was top notch and the parking lot made for a simple in and out for our brief one night stay. Wish we would've stayed at least two days!...
"We were a bit confused by this hotel. This is a luxury boutique hotel that didn’t really feel like a luxury hotel. The staff were nice which is expected but didn’t go out of their way for us. The location is excellent and our room had a beautiful view of the Portofino piazza but the windows all had signs saying “please keep windows closed”. Our room furnishings were standard. The hotel is very loud. We were above the restaurant and could hear the music all day and we could hear people in the...
"Hotel Nazionale Portofino was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Portofino. You simply can’t beat the location—being right in the heart of Portofino made it easy to explore the harbor, restaurants, shops, and nearby walking trails without having to worry about transportation.
The staff was consistently warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout our stay. They made us feel genuinely welcome and were always happy to answer questions or help whenever we needed anything.

"The property was well appointed and perfectly located by the water with a private beach. The hotel served breakfast and lunch on a wonderful patio overlooking the sea and hills. The staff were welcoming and so accommodating. I plan on returning in the future and recommend it to anyone wishing to visit this beautiful part of the Ligurian Coast"
