"A comfortable room, excellent food both at dinner and breakfast, and an interesting property with lots of history. The legend of Inez and Pedro gave it a unique twist, and the numerous pictures of them by many different artists were displayed throughout the hotel. We also walked through the gardens in the back. They are probably beautiful in the spring and summer, but being October there were just a few plants still in bloom. We enjoyed our stay very much!"

"Was a good location for me - short walk across the river to touristy streets. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast is ok, and the coffee there is exceptional."

"We stayed for one night, check in was clear and the apartment was clean and tidy. The coffee machine was an excellent addition. Our one issue is the AC had the strengthen of a toddler blowing out birthday candles. My partner and I run hot so AC is really important to us especially since it was too muggy outside to get relief. Would skip this place if you need AC otherwise it’s solid."

"Clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and informative"

"I tried to book the Ibis hotel but it was sold out. This hotel was my second choice and turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Great location, sitting on a hill with beautiful view of Coimbra, nice room and beds, and a great complementary buffet breakfast. Truly a gem."

"The location of the guest house was excellent. Within walking distance of the University and old town, and with a variety of restaurants close by. It was surprisingly quiet for being located directly on a major road. We loved the Sabores da Romeira restaurant. Be warned—the portions are HUGE. Even the locals were taking home doggy bags. The room itself was adequate, but felt more like a hostel than a hotel. There was good security—the code for the front door was routinely changed, and there was...

"Property was easy to find with Google Maps, very clean, room was comfortable, washroom clean with great shower, staff was very helpful in the morning and breakfast was good."

"Decent breakfast. Nice rooftop bar"

"Excellent service from all the staff with a sense of humour, nothing was too much trouble. Food delicious. A calm Oasis in the middle of Coimbra. Thank you for Victoria especially for graciously putting up with our group of 6. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough."

"This a spectacular hotel! Great location and such unique rooms! Plenty of space in our room and so many extra amenities from the heated floors to the rooftop breakfast and lounge. We only spent one night but we really wished we could have stayed more!"

"A bit hard to find! Otherwise all good"

"Muy lindo hotel, buen desayuno y muy buen trato por parte del personal"

"Restaurant and bar and near everything."

"This hotel is an exceptional bargain, clean, quiet, excellent staff and close to historical sites, restaurants and general shopping needs. It does not have an elevator but the staff was very willing to help carrying my bags up the stairs."
