The proximity to Holiday World and the great breakfast were worth the higher cost. I’m not sure we will stay there again, but two nights were enough for our first time to Santa Claus, Indiana.

I absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. The halls could be better cleaned. But the room was exceptionally super clean. Housekeeping on point and attentive of guests needs. The staff super friendly and helpful. 1 indoor pool 1 outdoor pool 1 hot tub. Pizzeria accros the street as well as a small shopping plaza which is perfect to pack light and just get all needs over there specially traveling with kids. 5 min away from holiday world!

The room and decor reminded me of the main Yellowstone lodge. The bed was similar as it felt old. Breakfast was good as it missed oatmeal that I find at other stays. It is so close to Holiday World. It is a shame that there is not a shuttle--even if I had to pay for it. An electric van would be perfect for the task. The room taken care of even though we forgot to put out the door sign. I recommend staying here.

Really close to holiday world. Decent priced for the area. Not brand new its older but Not ran down. Definitely will stay again with the family. Only small complaint if you have a low profile car or lowered car use the main entrance or far one of the dead end for the rear entrance or else you will bottom out or rub pretty hard. Nice sized pool outside and inside also. Nice breakfast in the mornings.

The staff were very helpful. They made up for the poor disrepair of the resort. Breakfast was great also. The facility is tired and needs lots of attention. Manager needs to pay more attention to details like littering outside door ways. Light bulbs burned out. Conditions of the pool and hot tub. Also presentations holiday decorations and lights around the facility.

It was really convenient being so close to Holiday World. Check in was easy and friendly. The room was nice. A little out dated, but clean. The bed and pillows weren’t as comfy as other hotels I’ve been in but it worked for one night. We didn’t use them but there was a nice indoor pool and an outdoor pool as well. There was a decent selection for the free breakfast which is always nice. It’s a place I would stay in again.

Very cute old fashioned lodge within walking distance of Holiday World. Definitely 90s Christmas vibes! Great for families, good indoor and outdoor pool, free breakfast was tasty. Don’t forget to check out the big pond in the back and the kids playground in the side lot.

Going in knowing the age of the lodge I knew what to expect. It’s a lodge not a luxury hotel. But the staff was lovely and the food was hot and the pool was fun for the kids. The fat Santa restaurant nearby was a good restaurant for dinner when everyone was hungry and tired.

Needs updating and refrigerators in rooms. Great location for Santa Claus World. You’ll have to do research on areas to eat and drive too unless, you want pizza or subway. We visited the end of June beginning of July and all the stores closed around 5:00.

I was with a group, so didn’t do activities. Front desk was extremely kind and helpful. My breakfast was good. I saw many people enjoying making waffles. It’s definitely a family-friendly place. Because there’s no elevator in the building we were in, I requested a 1st floor room, and it was great, and convenient.

I booked here as a nostalgic Father's Day trip, but it didn't seem as if our room had been used in years. One sink wouldn't drain and had a spider in it that I quickly killed, but after finding a brown recluse in the bed, we were quickly transferred to a new room that had been checked beforehand. The new room was clean and felt fresher, but the place seemed stuck in time. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was nice. I doubt we will return, but it was an adventure for sure.

Likes: the breakfast in the morning was fabulous! The lady running it was phenomenal! She was hopping every morning! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! The pools were clean. It’s very conveniently the park. Dislikes; the wooden stairs out to the lake need some repairs, the bedding was very old. The pillows were very flimsy. Bring your own if you need any support. There were some definite upgrades that could be made to the hotel, but it suffices for a 3 star hotel. The lake didn’t have many bites. The zip line is not functional and they had photos on their website that there were paddle boats but those didn’t exist. Do they need to update their photos.
