Second time staying here. Lovely hotel in Garajau. Decent breakfast, clean rooms and extremely nice people. Would highly recommend.

Positives were a nice pool and convenient breakfast buffet. Negatives were bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable and the noise was excessive all hours of the night into the early morning. Motorcycles flying by, car noises all hours, people in hotel playing load music, drunk people yelling on the street until 4am. Not only is it loud the walls a paper thin you can hear conversations next door and down the hall. There are no fans or AC to help with the noise or comfort of thjs place. I would never book again.

I loved how closely this property was located near the ocean, Christo Rei and the cable car. It was beautiful and they had a nice Continental breakfast. It was also located near a local bus stop.

I can highly recommend. The room was in cleanliness - the service was top-notch and I really liked the morning breakfast. If they can start offering wi-fi in the room, then I would give it a full 5-stars. Apart from that, I am very impressed by the service and location provided by the hotel.

The location and gardens are amazing. The staff are wonderful. Great brunch! The rooms were very clean. Towels are very old, thin and small. It was incredibly noisy. You can hear every movement through the walls and ceilings and the housekeepers shouting in the hallways at about 8:30 am. There are many large groups that stay and they are up late at night, up to 2 am sometimes, drinking and talking very loudly.

Really great place near everything you need. The swimmingpools are amazing !! Garden os beatifull and with a great view to the see.... Breakfast was really good for a 3 star. The ONLY problem was Dinner that was awfull everyday.... There's need to improve Dinner, awfull options, no taste, ONLY the soup was good to eat.... It's better to make the costumers pay a little more and have something better that se can actually eat. Other than the Dinner, the place is amazing

Nice place. Welcoming/check in was ok, but not exceptional. No explanation on the wifi (just available in the lobby), the pools, and other services available to us. The room was clean but dated. No AC and no Wifi in the room.

There was nothing special about this place unfortunately. Very old building. My room was a bit smelly, beds were uncomfortable, there isn't much around the area if you don't have a car. And there is no wifi in the rooms.

Een prachtig uitzicht en een prima schone kamer met een goed werkend kitchenette met een couvert voor 4 personen. Klein koelkastje met een vriezer, superhandig! De buurt is ontzettend leuk met alles in 1 straat te vinden en 15 min rijden van Funchal!

A very nice place to stay as a base whilst visiting around the beautiful island. Its not far from Funchal by BOLT taxi service and close to airport too, so not difficult to travel to the main centre.
