Midtown Private Cabana-Private Entry

Summary:
The Midtown Cabana is a perfect getaway for couples, solo adventurers, and for business travelers. Enjoy lovely views of trees and trails of the Pogonip hills from your room or the private patio. We're located 1 mile from downtown and the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk. The cabana is located near the lively Seabright neighborhood, which is full of great restaurants and boutique shops. Also nearby is the Yacht Harbor and Seabright beach with beach side dining and a variety of water activities.

The Space:
This private entry room is equipped with a King size bed, side tables, a larger accent table that can also be used as a laptop work space, and 2 sitting chairs to relax in and enjoy the view. Grab a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy the private outdoor patio with bistro table and chairs.

There is a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig for your convenience.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to their own private entrance.

The Neighborhood:
Desirable mid-town banana belt offers abundant sunshine normally outside the fog line, with easy walking access to markets, restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is quiet and well established, with charming homes throughout. Please respect the quiet neighborhood and keep excessive noise and other disruptions to a minimum.

Getting Around:
Multiple bus lines pass 3 blocks away. Biking is convenient to get downtown or to the beach and Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Uber and Lyft is also very convenient and are widely used around here . It's about a $7-$8 Uber ride to downtown or the Santa Cruz Boardwalk.

Easy check in process and all the necessities. Definitely not for a family but perfect for 1 or 2 comfortably. Access to downtown is quick and there are some great restaurants really close by. Id definitely stay again.

My wife and I had a great time. The location was close to everything, bed was very comfortable, and relaxing on the deck with the view was amazing! We hope to enjoy it again soon!

It’s a great place to stay!

It was super easy to get in to this place, located close to everything we needed, PLUS we had a mix up with our travel plans and needed to check-in early and the host was super accommodating! Also some adorable dogs will greet you through their fence, which is always a great way to kick off your stay!

Cozy Santa Cruz Stay

A lovely surprise in the middle of the neighborhood. Check in was easy and the view was gorgeous! The bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in! Close to downtown Santa Cruz and the beach, this is a wonderful stay for travelers!

nice, private feeling stay in Santa Cruz

I really loved the private feel of the room and patio. The space felt bright and pretty clean. I think it could use new carpeting as there were several stains. The shower is pretty bad (way too much pressure for a small shower) but the owner said that he is going to fix that soon. Loved the patio!

Perfect space for a Santa Cruz visit

This was a very cozy room with a lovely view and amazing outdoor patio (that we didn’t get to enjoy as our stay was too short ;( I hope to stay again next time I’m in SC! It’s exactly as pictured and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You won’t be disappointed : ) Also, it’s a nice quiet location not too far from UCSC, downtown and the beach. (Short drive to each)

Great spot and I love the patio

Comfortable for a weekend getaway

The rental was comfortable with a nice view from the patio. It has a nice, big bed and basic amenities (body wash, soap, coffee, fridge, microwave, hair dryer). The hosts were great at communicating, and the check in and parking were convenient. It was great for our purposes of having a home base while we spent most of our time out enjoying the city. Not very big, but we considered it a good value and would stay here again.

Really cute and quaint room

Super quiet, cute, quaint room if you prefer over a hotel. Easy entry, exactly as pictured. Perfect for my sister and I for wedding weekend. Central location, easy to walk to everything, nice neighborhood. Bed was SO comfortable!! Bedding and towels were amazing ! Only negatives, shower pressure is a bit too much and no decaf k cups which really aren’t major complaints, given the rest of the stay was perfect.
