"We booked and stayed 1 night in this very cute on the beach cabana. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We had a beautiful view and enjoyed the ocean waves all night. As a bonus we were invited to have coffee the next morning with the host and they shared a lovely breakfast of freshly made tortillas and cheese creme & veggies."

From there, head past the sign and you will come to a hill with lots of rocks in the road. Continue up the hill roughly 1 kilometer and until you reach the gate to the villa."

"This villa is a dream come true. We loved the clean and comfortable rooms, we swam a lot in both the lap pool and family pool, and loved the local home cooking from housekeeper Maria. And don't forget your binoculars if you’re a birder, theres dozens of specues right on the grounds, plus a beach and estuary. Really an amazing place. And great communication with the owner John."

"We weren’t told how bad the road to enter was. Dirt, broken cobblestones, large mud puddles and deep ruts. Most places room for only one car. Took 20 minutes to go 2 miles. Wi-Fi is always going out so if someone wants to work, good luck. We were told someone would meet us at the gate. When we finally got to the gate it was deserted. Could not get a call to go through. Finally a car approached and led us to the resort which was a ways down. We, of course, had no idea it was there. Very poor...

"This vacation property is located in Aticama, a small fishing village north of Puerto Vallarta. This is a vacation rental that absolutely requires a car, and you absolutely require basic Spanish.
