We recently stayed for 2 nights at Baos. The day club area the staff and the vibe were great. Huge shout out to alberto! This review is for the hotel and the service. We came down for breakfast. The guy taking our order didn’t write any of it down- it was 3 of us. They forgot my mom’s chilaquiles, an order of fruit and a milkshake. There was a family next to us who got their full order- I proceeded to cancel our items. The excuse was “the cook stepped out”. Will not be returning. And yes you do have to go up the stairs with your luggage- no help.

Well maintained but probably won't stay again

Great things about this place: 1) very clean; 2) really nice people working here, especially the female server at breakfast; and 3) everything, including a/c, worked great; 4) LOTS of geckos at night that stayed outdoors (my daughter loves lizards). Not-so-great things: 1) we had a family room with 3 beds but hardly any furniture, so we ran out of surface space very quickly. Not even a table; 2) of the 4 nights we stayed there, there was really LOUD music from the hotel bar late into the night, with the bass up so high that it shook our room; and 3) blood sucking bugs (jejenes) came out at night and kept us in the room starting about 5. I know that's not something the hotel can control, but it did detract from the place.

Many gnats in the evening and night. Could not sleep every night I stayed. Hotel is more for locals from Mexico. Not what I expected about this hotel.

This place is very run down and the pictures are only deceiving to ones eye. The staff isn’t the best and the restaurant is probably one of the worst in town, I ordered a hamburger and it was raw to give you an example. My advice is to come into to town and look at other small hotels in the area that are much better. Im so glad we only booked 1 night and moved to another hotel down the road.

The property was beautiful. Very tiny though. Maybe about 15 rooms? 20 max. The entire property was nice but both sides were terrible to look at. Debris. The staff was very stand off ish. Arrogant. 2/5 stars for the staff
