Welcome to Fenix Azul, your next romantic getaway, friends retreat, or family adventure in the heart of the high desert. Soak up the private views from every window and enjoy BBQing from the deck while watching the sunset. Imagine yourself relaxing and drinking your favorite beverage after shopping Canyon Road or hiking the spectacular trails around Santa Fe. This charming 1700 sq.ft home is tastefully designed to give you a true Santa Fe experience with old school brick floors, two inviting kiva fireplaces (candles only) and traditional viga ceilings. Come and enjoy numerous furnishings collected from nearby Santa Fe that deliver a New Mexico vibe. Newly landscaped yard and heating and cooling, freshly renovated kitchen and bathroom all make this property a pleasurable vacation experience. This gem has has two living areas, each with their own kiva fireplace (candle light only). There's two master bedrooms (very firm queen/medium firm king) that share a bathroom and both have a private patio. An additional hallway bathroom is next to the third bedroom (soft queen). The three beds offer versatility for sleepers. There's also two single airbeds available. Fenix Azul sits on over an acre of land with large juniper trees protecting your privacy and offering a sanctuary for wildlife. There's plenty of hiking/running trails nearby as well as bike paths that travel throughout the community. The Rails To Trails runs right through Eldorado, going from the cute little town of Lamy all the way to Santa Fe. Galisteo Basin Preserve offers great hiking and is only a short drive. It's approximately a 25 minute drive to Santa Fe Plaza and 54 minutes to Ski Santa Fe.
The kitchen is fully stocked with the necessary tools to cook your favorite meal or perhaps try a local recipe from one of our cookbooks. The kitchen was renovated in 2020 and has all new stainless steel appliances and custom cabinets.
The whole house is yours except the detached garage. There is a large circle driveway so there's parking available up to four vehicles. A washer and dryer is available free for guests that reserve five days or more or a $20 extra charge can be added if you are staying less than five days and want to use the laundry room. This can be accomplished during the reservation process or added on to your credit card after arrival.

Amazing Stay at Fenix Azul – Highly Recommend!Our two-night stay at Fenix Azul was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the home’s stunning design, immaculate cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities. The space is beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the living areas were cozy and comfortable. We have rented in Eldorado each time we have visited Santa Fe. It’s a great location for exploring the area. The house was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view. The house was decorated beautifully and so comfortable. My only suggestion is that the room next to the kitchen needs shades on the windows to keep the room cooler. But overall loved everything about the house❤️

I have rented properties from Monterey, CA to Madrid, Spain and i can honestly rank Fenix Azul at the top. Cassandra's a wonderful and responsive host. The property is beautifully appointed, spacious, and we'll maintained. I will always book Fenix Azul for my Santa Fe trips.

The pueblo was situated in a nice, remote desert neighborhood with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. While it was convenient to Santa Fe, it was removed enough to provide a sense of peaceful remoteness. Try the pizza place at the entrance to the neighborhood.

So nice to be away from traffic and congestion. Comfortable beds and excellent cookware and dishware. Suggest bringing your own pillows. Heads up: Access to washer dryer denied if stay is less than 5 nights.

Took a family ski trip and enjoyed our stay. Property was well organized and very clean. Great view of the mountains from multiple rooms. About an hour drive to ski Santa Fe, but worth it to stay somewhat out of town.

Property was completely as listed. Nestled in the back of a large community outside Santa Fe, this property allows you to unwind, view the stars and enjoy the quiet. The house was perfect for our 2 couples for dining, bathrooms and sleeping arrangements. Comfortable beds, games, outdoor seating and pretty views.

They house had everything we needed. The layout worked well for our two couples golf getaway. Little way out from Santa Fe, but this works well to decompress from being in town on some days. Would consider staying again in the future.

We loved our stay at Fenix Azul! The home was beautiful with plenty of room for the 4 of us. Deck was great for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening with a lovely view of the mountains. Did a lot of traveling around Santa Fe and up to Taos. This was a convenient location for all our daily trips. We highly recommend this place. Communication with the owner was simple and helpful.

Our family of 5 from NYC had a great time staying in this beautiful and well located property in a community about 20 minutes outside of Santa Fe. There is a nearby grocery store and trails and everything that is wonderful about Santa Fe is only a short car ride away. The house is sunny and warm with comfortable rooms, walk-in closets and a nice outdoor space. The sunsets are amazing!

This was a greatplace to stay, comfortable beds, plenty of heat in January/February, great views. I would stay here again. There is a rule that you can't use washer/dryer unless you stay 5 nights. We were 8 people and couldn't do laundry, this was very inconvenient for us. If you spend $300+ a night to stay somewhere, I expect to have access to washer and dryer. So I don't come home to a ton of laundry.

We loved this place. We stayed here for a week & celebrated Thanksgiving here. It was very clean & well equipped with everything we needed. Our favorite part was the amount of open space around the property with hiking trails, the deck to step out for panoramic views, very beautiful night sky & large windows in every room to enjoy it, plus we could step out into the open from every room!! One minor change that I would make is the addition of a larger dining table that can accommodate the number of guests staying (we were seven, with seating space at the table for four). During Thanksgiving in particular, this would have helped. The hosts were excellent and very easy to communicate with. We are very likely to come back here, the next time we are staying in NM.
