"We had the most incredible stay at the Minerva , it’s an absolute gem of an hotel - we were so lucky to have found it . The staff of this family run hotel are fantastic, so helpful with everything and anything you might need. It’s very seldom that I eat breakfast in a hotel always opting to venture out , but the food was so good. The attention to detail everywhere in the hotel is amazing . Small personal touches to make your stay so memorable and enjoyable. The rooftop deck and plunge pool along with the steam and sauna are an incredible plus . The rooms are fabulous and incredibly clean . The recommendations for eating out and activities were perfetto ! I’ll definitely be going back."

"Friendly staff, great view from the room and central walking location. Small rooftop pool/terrace, get there early for a chair/sun-bed. For the price, can probably find a better hotel within walking distance(0.5 miles), right on the water with 2 pools, water access, spa, more sun chairs, also breakfast included... but if that one is sold out, this is a great option."

"Our check in was very disappointing. The room was very small so I request an upgrade which I was happy to pay for- the receptionist explained they had a room but it was being cleaned, for us to go enjoy lunch and come back to sort it out. On our return they had sold the room to someone else. Hotel location is nice, rooms tiny and old/ worn. Beach set up in also very small with sun loungers crammed together. the beach is lovely. Stay in a proper hotel and come use the beach!"

"Beautiful property and location. Everyone on the staff was pleasant and welcoming. Vistamare breakfast and dinner were excellent. Pool and beach area are well kept and inviting. The concierge and reception staff were all first class and provided exemplary service. I would highly recommend this luxurious property if you are staying in or near Santa Margarita Ligure."
