Best Western Plus Hotel Plaza

"Excellent location. Easy walk to everything in Rhodes town: beach clubs, old town, new town, harbour etc. The hotel is a little dated: tiny lifts, tired landing carpets, general furnishings etc. Bedroom was a bit small, bathroom was nice but compact and the room had a safe, hairdryer and kettle. Side sea view from the balcony means overlooking roof tops, laundry lines, AC units with the sea in the distance and the balcony was useful for drying damp swim wear etc. Beds were comfortable, housekeeping staff were nice, water dispensers on each floor and a library of donated books on the landing too which are useful touches. Breakfast was a buffet which had canteen vibes and quality, with a good selection of foods: hot cooked food, an omelette station, cold meats and cheese, yoghurt and tinned fruit, some fresh fruit, cereals and pastries, breads and jams etc. Fruit juices tasted diluted. Pool was only open 10-6 and had a queue at 10am. We managed to get sun beds and umbrella when we wanted them. There is a pool bar and cafe. The pool itself is very nice. Late check-out facilities are disappointing. They offer a “courtesy room” for half an hour - I would not recommend using this. They also offer late check-out out in the bed rooms for 60euros till 6pm if available. I visited in September and consider the room rates to be disproportionately high for this property."

"Perfect location with friendly staff. Rooms were cleaned daily, we had a small fridge and a kettle which was a great. Very easy walking distance to the old town (15 mins) and the beach was a three minute walk away. All around the hotel was bars and restaurants all within an easy reach. The greek people are the best! We had a really lovely stay and would highly recommend"

"I had an issue with the patio door lock on arrival. The manager called the maintenance guy out at 9pm at night to attempt to fix but was unable to. They promptly moved me to the same room opposite and promised to fix it by the morning. They kept that promise, and I was offered my original room back or could have stayed but I opted to take my original room. One day I got back and there was a small gift from the hotel to apologise! There was no need it was dealt with. The staff were wonderful and always friendly and smiling, nothing was ever too much. The mini bar addition in the room was a nice addition as well!"

"We stayed in an Executive room for five nights. 1. We weren't told that the room is cleaned and tidied only every other day. Things like that should be mentioned in advance. 2. There was a coffee machine in the room. We ran out of coffee capsules after a day and a half. When I asked why the coffee supplies hadn't been replenished, I was told that this had to be done through room service (for a fee!)"

"Great property near to Old Town 10 minute walk. Loads of restaurants a small local shops. Harbour with boat trips etc. Staff were very helpful and all the little extras made the trip, complementary watermelon & cava, fresh juice by the pool daily. Free mini bar which was topped up daily. Great breakfast option. Furniture in the rooms a little tired but cleanliness was 100%."

"Beautiful, brand-new property. The cleaning crew was incredibly kind and helpful, and they really made the experience feel like home. The complimentary items in the fridge were such a unique and thoughtful touch, and they were replenished every day. I’ve never experienced that level of hospitality at a hotel or boutique property before. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it."
