Very quiet, clean, and staff were great. It has a great view to the ocean ….. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Puerto Angel, Oaxaca. Love it!!!!!

Great place

We stayed in the Zipolite Suite and enjoyed it. The staff were nice and friendly and the meals in the restaurant were very good. Lounging at the pool for a day was a treat. It is a nice area, easy to access.

This review is for a three-night stay a few months ago. I had a wonderful time at this small hotel, and I found the owner and staff exceptional. I had great conversations about Mexico and the local area with Jordi, one of the owners, who was full of information and suggestions on getting around, places to dine, and things to see. The room itself was sparkling clean, and as one of the few places in the area that had air conditioning, it was a great hotel to stay in during the beginning of their...

Beautiful cabana , set like you were up in the trees with a oceanfront view.

Everything was great and friendly staff

This is a beautiful property a few miles from town. We rented a car for our 6-day stay which proved to be very convenient. Our 2-bedroom apartment was lovely, comfortable, clean, quiet and had a sweeping view of the beach, the service was excellent, everyone went out of their way to greet us. The food at the pool bar and restaurant was good. I only have 2 complaints. The first is that the pool is relatively small and was constantly filled with small children and plastic pool toys, we would have...

Everything was absolutely amazing! We even had dinner and a sunset on the rooftop patio!

Very relaxed hotel on a beautiful, isolated beach, great for disconnecting. The waves at the beach were too rough to swim during our stay, but still beautiful to watch and relax. The staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful, they organized taxis and tours to nearby towns and beaches. Food at the restaurant was excellent.

I cannot wait to go back! I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was really a grouping (of 7 or so) bungalows. The one we stayed in was high on the cliff with a view of the ocean, shoreline, and rocks below. Absolutely unreal! The staff was incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and there were few other guests. I have rented villas on vacation several times, and this is a very similar feeling without the cost or prep. I wouldn't recommend this place though if you have difficulty walking...

What a treat to stay here for two nights, and I wish it was more. With no air and coming from snow country, I was surprised how comfortable the netted bed with ceiling fan within the “tent” would be. Beautiful room, grounds, and just 20 yards from a beach tiki bar/outdoor restaurant. The best stop on my 26 day, 10 hotel trip!

Brand new. it was a five star hotel for the price of a 3 star. everything worked. deck that overlooks the beach. the location was stellar. days the surf was too high there was a pool. attached to the hotel is a bar/restaurant with above average food. whats not to like about sitting on the beach and eating super tasty food? easy to just stay there or walk a short distance into town. for those who love the beach and the waves this is an excellent choice

Excellent place for complete relaxtion ! Beautiful installations Great staff

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms.

The property, the food, the drinks, the staff were all perfect! I would note that it's the perfect get away if you want a remote location. There is 1 restaurant down the hill (on the beach) and 1 pizza place (100 peso taxi drive or walk able about 15 min). There is no cell service so you are at the mercy of the wifi signal on the property. Also, be sure bring cash because the closest ATM is at the airport. **the property does accept CC but other places in area do not.

Rooms are amazing - modern, clean, spacious and stylish. We got a room with private balcony that had a hammock and 2 chairs. The view to the ocean was great too - we could actually see the ocean from our bed! But it seems like not all the rooms get the same view. They have a private beach but very rocky so not really good for tanning or getting in the water. Pool was great too - although not too big. Some of the pool area furniture is a bit random - some plastic chairs, some plastic tables in...

Beautiful property. Only feedback is that the water pressure and shower drainage is not great. If you maximize the shower head there will be a ton of water overflow in your bathroom. Other than that, this place is amazing.

I was looking for a complete getaway that was low key and relaxing. The initial drive to Zipolite from Hautulco took longer than expected. It is about 55 miles away and will take up to 1.5 hours to get there due to the one lane road that twists and turns. Do not be surprised when the road ends in the town and turns into a bumpy dirt road. Paradise will greet you at the end of the road. The hotel is rustic and a throwback in time to when life was easy. If you are looking for room service and a...
