Perfect getaway!

Dawn’s place is a perfect getaway for a vacation. The space was clean and had a lot of amenities. The sunrise view of the lake was amazing. Whether you’re looking for a landing spot for day hikes or relaxing in a peaceful setting, this is a good spot!

Pros: The apartment was bigger than it looks in the pictures. It was so lovely to have the balcony for the evening time! Marina was the most helpful and friendly host.

Check the propane gas and more toilet paper.

There weren't enough toilet paper for 7 people and the propane gas tank for the grill was was empty. Other than that, the place was nice.

Amazing Vacation!

We cannot express enough how much we enjoyed staying here. The location is wonderful and the home was very clean and comfortable. Loved having access to the pool table and cornhole! Looking forward to returning next year!

We had such a great time at this house! Owners so very responsive and friendly. The neighborhood is great. Neighbors are friendly and the lake is beautiful! Will definitely come again!!!

Lovely Location

The owners of the house are very prompt at answering questions. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The house has a nice layout and is clean. You put kayaks in the water just across the street and a short walk to the beach.

Clean and restful

The house was almost perfect. We had friends with us, all 70 +, so another 1/2 bath would have been better for 4 oldtimers. 🤭 Quiet and clean. Very pleased and well appointed. Thanks ❤

Beautiful property in a quiet relaxing neighborhood

My sister, my mom, my dogs, and I had so much fun on our 3 day getaway at this beautiful home! Its the perfect size for a family and the pictures don't do it enough justice! There's ample room in the living room on the wrap around couch and the wrap around porch outside to match was perfect to hang outside with the dogs, and perfect if you have kids too because there's gates on both entries of the porch and a gate blocking the basement too which leads down to a pool table and dart board which were fun too! Only a stone throw away from a beautiful lake to launch kayaks from, and a 5 min walk to the neighborhood beach which was SO clean, the water was clear with hardly any weeds and the sand was super clean and soft. Only about an hour away from North Conway that has a ton of stuff to do and a little over an hour away from Diana's Baths which was our favorite day trip out of our entire vacation. We barely wanted to leave the house to do anything because it was so perfect with all the amenities like the game room in the basement, the board games upstairs, the fireplace outside, the smart TV in the living room, and the gorgeous bathroom with a deep jet powered tub! Our dogs being able to come was a huge plus! My dogs birthdays happened to be that week and i couldn't fathom leaving them alone on their 5th and 6th birthdays lol so we celebrated their birthday on the wrap around porch! Although we didn't meet Dawn and Jim face to face, they were so kind and more than accommodating sending us all kinds of recommendations with stuff to do in the area as well. I hope to come back next year. Thanks again Dawn and Jim! You gave us the chance to have the family girls trip of a lifetime we'll never forget!

Great House for Multiple Family Units

The property itself was well cared for and the porch was great for get togethers and being outside when the beach was not an option. The house is in a neighborhood and so being prepared for lack of privacy is important. Dogs need to be leashed at all times, so bring a run.

Sunset Lake

I would definately stay here again! The owners were so nice, they had a smores kit for my daughter, along with flowers and champagne for the adults. The house was clean and well taken care of!

Absolutely wonderful stay!

We cannot give enough stars for this property and the property owners. The location was great! Lake entrance across the street and nice community beach within a 5 min walk. The house was cute and cozy. Extremely clean! Everything you would need is in the house. The property owners were so accommodating and were very responsive to our questions. We will absolutely be back next year!

What a wonderful week away

We had the most wonderful time! The house is perfectly appointed and had lots of space - even with 2 families staying at once we never felt crowded. The living room was the best part inside the home - the couch sits everyone and the fan made for a comfortable relaxing space. The beds are all super comfy - and the huge deck was were we spent lots of our time. Having kayaks and a canoe on site was fantastic and the public beach is a very short walk down the road. We loved our stay and plan to be back!

Summer vacation

Thank you so much for letting us rent your lovely home. It was clean and well suited for a nice week in NH. The lake is directly across the street and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. The neighborhood is super family friendly and our kids loved making new friends! Our dogs were even welcomed in the neighborhood. The Carroll’s were available if we needed anything. Thanks for letting us rent your home and make awesome summer memories!

Great vacation spot

The House was beautiful and clean. Our family of five enjoyed canoeing, fishing and swimming. Quiet neighborhood, great experience! The Carrol’s were very friendly and helpful

quiet getaway on Sunrise Lake

This place was exactly what we needed for a couple days of relaxing. We used the fire pit, pool table, and dart board. Our dogs had a blast! The people we met in the area were so friendly. We plan to come back.

Fun Vacation Home

We enjoyed staying in this spacious home with its fun amenities (Jacuzzi, TV) in a lovely location. Brandon, the property manager was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay for a week

The house was extremely clean, and well provisioned. It's very comfy–cozy, with all the state-of-the art electronic gadgets you could expect in a rental (the TV is awesome). So far, it's been the best rental we've stayed at, and we plan on returning in the future.

Wedding weekend

We had a wonderful time it was close enough to tumbledown farms and clean quiet neighborhood. Would rent this property again.

Birthday weekend

My family and our closest friends have been renting a house for 3 years now on my and my husbands birthday weekend. The house was perfect for our guests, ourselves, and our 1 1/2 year old son, as well as our rather large pup. Brandon was very accommodating and thought of everything with toddler proofing the home. We were able to bring our kayaks and enjoy the beautiful lake. Although we had some crummy weather while we were there, there was still plenty to do and room to move. We appreciated the hospitality! Definitely a 5 star experience for us!

Great family vacation

We had a great stay here! Loved the fire pit and walking around lake. Place was very clean, easy to check in, neighbors were so nice and beds were comfy! Pool table in basement and sweet bunk bed room if you have older kids. Ours were 2 so they didn’t take advantage of these amenities but still loved staying here.

Nice stay!

Property was nice and clean. Plenty of amenities. The wrap around deck w gates is perfect for small children. Owner is quick to respond to problems/questions.
