Nice property on a beautiful beach. But very crowded in August which led to litter and water quality issues and the main pool swarming with kids. The “entertainment” is hilarious / bad and there were some ants in our room. Otherwise a solid 3 to 4 Star level experience/family resort.

Very nice resort and family friendly. Couldn't fault the apartment. Food was generally good. Coffee could be better. Main pool was great and easy access to the beach. The beach is best to visit early or late during the peak season (gets very busy). Small things that could be improved: Drago land is definitely overpriced (it's small and can be experienced in an hour), better food provision for families arriving late or leaving early (not much option). Kids entertainment during the day could be better, but very good in the evening. The local town total outside the resort is very touristy with no local culture

My daughter and I stayed here in July and it was a mad house. Very busy day and night, getting a pool chair was difficult and the person that checked us in was a bit rude. The hotel in general is nice and the location is convenient. The staff at the pool bar were also very kind so that was nice. I don’t think I would stay here again unless it was low season.

Amazing resort and very beautiful area. Very good food options and lovely staff . The sea and the location is great . Hotel caters more for families with small children with non Spanish dinner timings which is a shame . Not fault of the hotel but the sea has plastics . The pool was heated .. this was totally unnecessary as it was really hot. Taxis services are completely overwhelmed and not that reliable so be aware when planning. Local flea market is just madness, nothing special but just full of people. Best not to go . Paddle and canoe are really recommend. Buses are very full and cannot be trusted upon . Overall pretty, well looked after and high standards in rooms , staff , etc.

Overall, our stay at the resort was just fine. It’s a nice property with lots of pools and right on a beach. I do want others to know before they book - they do NOT have an airport shuttle, as advertised on Expedia. When you reach out to them they will simply give you the name of a company you can book, which was not exactly helpful. Either rent a car or plan to spend $500 round trip to uber to and from the airport. Also, I would not recommend doing the buffet dinner. They had no protein options and the rest of the food was very mediocre, and not at all worth the price. There are great Mediterranean restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the resort that are cheaper and tastier. Keep all your food in the fridge or else your suite will be filled with ants (not a big deal for us though).

This hotel is a lot of fun for families. Lots of kids and activities for them. The suite was very comfortable. This hotel is on the beach, a beautiful cala with clear water, lots of fish and an area for cliff jumping. On the side of the cala there is a small hiking trail that takes you to the Mirador. This is the meeting point for Starfish Dolphin watching excursions, so very convenient. There are some restaurants, shoos, and mini markets in the area which is great. The minitrenet stop (tourist train)is less than a block away. You can walk to downtown Cala D'or annd Marina but we didn't with kids. The reception calls a taxi for you and it is between 5 and 6euros. The minitrenet runs every hour and stops at main points in the area. We only ate a couple times at the hotel and the food was ok. There are two places to buy ice cream on tue premises. Finally, the staff at his resort is outstanding, dedicated, polite, friendly and effetely. Highly recommend.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in a convenient location, close to the city center and the marina, where you’ll find many great restaurants and tapas bars. The hotel was very clean, and the nearby beach was absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear turquoise water and soft white sand. Most of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. However, my experience with the restaurant staff could have been improved. At times, they seemed less approachable and did not always provide clear explanations when we had questions. With a bit more attentiveness and communication, the dining experience could be greatly enhanced. Despite that, I would still recommend this hotel for its excellent location, cleanliness, and beautiful surroundings.

Great location and an excellent pool. My child really enjoyed Drago Land, although it felt a little expensive for the quality. The breakfast and restaurant staff were very friendly. **Cons** Our first room had a strong smell of mould and fresh paint. After complaining, I had to request a room change. The second room was slightly better but still smelled mouldy. We were told that the room had been painted that morning to solve mould issue. I found it unacceptable to assign a freshly painted room, especially to a family with a young child.The front desk manager did not take our concerns seriously and treated the mould and humidity as normal. The room looked clean, but there was sand on the sofa and floor when we arrived. After my son wet the bed, I requested fresh bedding. However, only the top sheet was changed. The bottom sheet and mattress protector were not replaced, and the blanket was left scrunched up on a chair. The mouldy smell continued throughout our stay.The kitchen sink and water also smelled unpleasant, so we did not feel comfortable using the kitchen. The coffee was poor and there was no fresh juice at breakfast. **Overall** The location, pool and restaurant staff were great, but the room quality, cleanliness and complaint handling were very disappointing. The hotel looks like a 4 star property, but the actual quality and service felt closer to 2–3 stars. These issues affected our comfort and sense of safety, especially with a young child.

Clean room, housekeeping cleans and restocks room daily which was so nice to come back to! Beautiful resort, beach is very close and staff was extremely helpful! Parking can be tedious but it’s the way all over the island! They provided crib for us and the store right across the street has everything you need including some baby supplies!

We didn’t want to leave

We had a fantastic week in Cala D'or. The hotel is in an incredible location. Reception staff were so friendly. Apartment was beautiful. We really didn't want to leave.

Everything was good, except for the pool that was not heated. Heat the pool! A cold pool takes away the reason Northern European families come. We want the kids to swim all day.

Good hotel. Close to a great beach and a great cafe next to the beach that’s adults only. The hotel has a kids club. The kids club was enjoyed by our 5 and 7 year old. The 1 bedroom only has a sofa for the kids that can be modular to accommodate two kids. It’s not an extra dedicated bed for the kids. Staff was friendly.
