Grungy and serious need of upgrade

Grungy, dirty, filthy. Looks like they may be remodeling some but our room was in desperate need of attention. Old curtains that barely were hanging. No door number. Paint peeling from inside and outside door. Light came through around door. Bathroom grout was ick. Bed was okay. Pool looked clean. Best thing was onsite bar with beautiful pool tables. This area was immaculate.

Pretty good

The people were weird outside and the ice bucket didn’t come with a plastic bag in it. Everything else was good. Clean room, friendly man at the desk.

Unsuspecting comfort

The outside was having work done, and I was unsure at first but the rooms were clean and I can tell that the hotel has made strides to update the rooms and make them comfortable. The from desk manager was great, the service staff were attentive and accessible, and I can tell they are working hard to get this hotel up from where it used to be.

Loved it.

Great location right off interstate 95, plenty of places to eat. The staff are very helpful and friendly, it was peaceful and quiet! The lady at the front desk went out of her way to help me, I didn’t get her name but I assume she works the evening shift as I checked in around 3 P.M. I was only going to stay one night but it was so comfortable I stayed two. Thank you too all the staff for being so nice.

The bathroom was not very clean. There was urine stains on the toilet. Hair in the shower. The shower curtain was not long enough so the water wet the floor. The room was very dusty. This is a neglected former Howard Johnson’s. Besides us there were maybe 4 other rooms used. Our first rooms bathroom was unusable. We got another room. It did not have any towels. They do have a price rate in the rooms for removing, towels, coffee makers, iron, ironing board, sheets, pillows etc. parking lot look like it has not had any maintenance in YEARS. We do NOT recommend this to anyone

Never ever AGAIN

Do not stay. I repeat do not stay. Customer service terrible. Bathroom no shower curtain and dirty shower. And then better dies in the door and we couldn’t get in our room. Management asked my husband did he lock the door from the inside?? Huh? I repeat, DO NOT STAY!!!!

The building was run down, pool was closed. Mask was required to enter the lobby so i could check in. The name of the hotel is Clarion but the sign had Rodeway Inn on it. Made it very confusing. The sheets and blanket in my room seemed clean, same with the bathroom. But the lounge chair and ottoman looked dirty. The room had a bad odor. I did not see any roaches but previous reviews say that there is some. I was there only 1 night and i was thankful for that.

It's old

Old tired hotel that needs major renovation or needs to be torn down. Pool was closed. Clerk says pump broken for over a year. Ice machine, broken. Room numbers unreadable. Painted tin cans on outside walls serving as ash trays. TV and AC worked. Bed was clean so for 60 bucks I got what I paid for. The clerk was kind enough to switch my room when I inadvertently booked a smoking room.

I arrived pretty late and was only staying overnight since we had to drive another 9 hours the next day. There was a huge graduation party going on at the hotel and there were teenaged kids hanging out all along the sides and back of the hotel. The room they gave me was exactly in the middle of that. We never even entered the room. When I told the man at the counter that wasn’t staying and asked for a refund, he insisted that he could give me another room away from the party (which he should have done in the first place). While I was speaking to him, several cops pulled around to the area where the party was and we saw about 12 kids running away in all directions. The man at the counter tried to use that as a selling point that the cops had arrived and so it would be fine. I had to physically return to the hotel the next morning and speak to another man in order to get a refund. Ridiculous!
