"I was concerned when I didn’t have several options to choose from in Andrews for accommodations. However, the location was perfect for an 8:00 am pedal bike ride. Breakfast was provided. (Oatmeal, waffles, muffins, fruit and cereal. Coffee, juice, and water.) Because we took a cooler for the ride, a light breakfast was sufficient. The staff was nice. Ice machines worked and were available. There were several bikers in town and it was cool to see all their nice rides. The room was clean. It could use some touch ups, but it was better than expected. If you enjoy walking you can get to downtown easy. They have some nice little shops. If you are looking for a room for the night I would book it. However, if you are someone that is always negative and find fault in everything, then you should pass. Enjoy your stay in Andrews, NC. "

"The home is perfectly situated and very private. We take a family vacation every year in NC or TN on lakes and this one is now one of our favorites. There were so many things to do, we enjoyed watching movies in the theater room, kayaks on the lake, fire in fire pit making s’mores and watching lightning bugs at night. The walk down to lake is not bad at all compared to most cabins in NC on lake. Owners have done great job railing and steps. I rated house with all 5 as excellent with a 4 for cleanliness only because we found chips/snack type crumbs under coffee table when slid towards couch, in movie chairs and dirty ashtray out on porch. I feel these were all result of how quickly cleaning crews have to get in/out before next guest. Nothing that ruined stay for sure. Owner is very organized with things around the house and kitchen was very stocked with everything imaginable. Thank you Gaylene for opening your home up for a beautiful week."

"We have never stayed anywhere that was so well equipped. We grilled and there was an extra full propane tank, so no worry about running out. The house was spotless, and the owner put out fresh cut flowers. I was just like being at home except better because it is perfectly kept.. This is the prefect place you can relax and enjoy being alive Ron & Daina"

"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. They had a garden flag out front that said happy anniversary and a gift on the table inside. It was so sweet. The cabin was clean.Kitchen was had all things needed to cook a meal . We had privacy. We loved the back porch. Check in was very easy. 10 minutes from Bryson City. We will stay here again. "

"We absolutely loved the setting and the accommodations. We only wish we would have stayed more than one night and hope to go back for a longer stay in the future. Host left lots of information on things to do in the area as well as maps. We used this information to plan a visit to the Joyce Kilmer memorial forest and absolutely loved it! We highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away from it all."
