"The Marriott Hacienda Belen is the only hotel where I stay in San Jose. I have been there 15+ times as it’s the best way to finish a Costa Rica trip before getting back. The convenience of the shuttle to the airport is a must. This hotel has been consistent through the years with impeccable facilities, multiple food outlets, great brunch buffet, welcoming staff and pristine rooms. The place is just beautiful in a very special historic building. I have been recommending it to family and friends. I highly recommend!"

"This is a great hotel to reaerve right before you leave for the airport. Shuttles run every 15 min 24 hours a day. They will provide you with a to go breakfast as well. Rooms are very comfortable and a nice size. We didnt use the pool or weight room. We did go to the restaurant, the food was pretty good, there was just 1 server though, so service did take a long time."

"Enjoyed the stay, casino was a little small only had slots going no tables that was a little disappointing but it was fine. Would stay here again if needed to stay in area. Close to airport."
