Beautiful local hotel with lovely staff

Genuinely such an amazing experience. The owners of the hotel greet you themselves and are super sweet and helpful. They recommended me a cruise that I ended up doing the next day and it was the highlight of my trip. The view from the rooms is beautiful and at the end of my sta they even gifted me a keychain and magnet. Genuinely could not recommend more.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast one morning. Kostas told us a lot about the area and made restaurant recommendations, arranged the car rental with no hassle on our part. We would definitely recommend the property to others.

We had the honeymoon suite and had an amazing time there. Views from both sides of the island with sun set and sun rise. The infinity pool was great. Bar next to it! Bus stop just outside the property, we didnt need to hire a car and manage to get around to a lot of places on the island without any problem.

I recommend you to take this opportunity to get the best view of sea et good breakfast and the very clean and spacious room. Fred is a good person and very kind and a real gentleman to help you find about your enjoyable stay and visit Santorini. He booked us the best price for island tours with boat and a lot of great information about our trip. All of employees were great and trying to make good memories for us. I just want to say thank you Fred and his family for all the wonderful memories. The transport for Pia et Fira juste in front of door et great walking erea with great view of Santorini passe from hotel to fira.

Fred the owner was at very good at communication with us through out the trip. Kosta (check in person) is very resourceful and helpful, staff are friendly as well. We were given a small gifts as a good gesture of staying in the hotel.

Quaint hotel with an exceptional view! Kostas, Manos and staff are the nicest people you will meet and go out of their way to help. The owner Fred exemplifies customer service and an all around great person. We had some car trouble on a dirt road and Fred made sure we got home safely…that kind of customer care is rare these days. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again without hesitation.

Loved our stay at Luna Rossa. They helped us arrange transportation from the airport and helped us get settled since we arrived after the reception was open. It was great to have the option for breakfast delivered to your room in the AM and they asked you what time you preferred to have it. Kostas was gave great recommendations of places to eat as well as how to get around the island. The location is right by the walking trail from Thira to Oia with insane views. It's also very conveniently located right by a bus stop so it allowed for easy transportation into Oia. Fred was so kind and hospitable. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful small property conveniently located between Fira and Oia and across the street from the luxury resorts in Imerovigli and a gorgeous view of the caldera. The staff is friendly and the proprietor warm and charming. It's short distance to Imerovigli center and an easy bus ride to Oia if you don't have a car. Take the path along the caldera if walking back and forth to Imerovigli instead of the road. It's a beautiful walk in either direction and far safer than the street. If you don't want to walk, the hotel can arrange transportation and anything else you might need. Fred arranged a sailing excursion which was one of the highlights of our visit and recommended some great restaurants as well which were among our favorites while in Greece. Luna Rossa is a gem in Santorini, especially if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable stay that's centrally located away from all of the crowds.

Best hotel staff in all of Greece

We got to the hotel at midnight and were greeted by Kostas and housekeeper. Room was not what we booked. But Kostas helped fix the listing error. There is no triple room or adjoining rooms and according to Luna Rossa it was hotel.com error because what they mean is they have 3 similar rooms. So if you have kids and want a family suite this is not the place for you. Kostas and the housekeeper were the best part of the stay. As for the rooms, they are small, bathroom always felt wet, moist, and or dewy. When you hang your towel at night it’s not dry in the morning. On the plus side They give you new towels everyday. Beds always felt damp. Everything was just sticky. We paid $855 for 4 night stay. Not worth the money. Mini Croissant and coffee in the morning were good. No microwave or stove in rooms. Can’t flush toilet paper down the toilet at this hotel and most places in Greece. There’s a friendly cat that lives on property. To reiterate the Staff is super friendly and helpful; they were the best part of our stay.

The room is great. BIG! includes a small kitchen area with mini fridge. Also the location is great. 9 mins from the airport and dead center between Oia and Fira (about 10 mins to each. The best part of this place is the owners.. Fred and his wife are so caring. They will help you out with absolutely anything you need. Great people

The staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and special, breakfast were traditional greek very delicious and coffe was good, watching the sunrise is a must from the pool, amazing pictures. I would definitely stay there.

We had great days at Luna Rossa, the owner Fred is such a lovely person, he borrowed some books so we can read more about Santorini, he also suggested a very good restaurant for dinner and he offered to make the reservation. Our flight back was at 23:50, he offered the premium suite with jacuzzi so we can stay and rest until the time to go to the airport. Most of the hotels will charge for late checkout but he didn’t charge anything. We loved our stay at Luna Rossa, my daughter took really nice photos at the pool. The sunrise is amazing. Breakfast was great!

The personal of this cozy and beautiful hotel was so attentive and helpful! The location could not be better - the gorgeous shore line starts right across the road, my son loved the infinity pool and we loved the amazing views. Thank you Fred and Kostos for organizing our ride back to the ferry!
