Villa Clio - Ideal

Villa Clio is an ideal place and venue to have a quiet week by the pool or as a base to explore Santorini's delightful offerings - from adventure to archeoligal visits to truly wonderful sights - we used Villa Clio for all of these for our week. The family and staff were superb and nothing was any bother. Immediately we arrived there was a rapport. Great location to the beach, bus stops, shops, town centre. Very quiet surroundings. Lovely pool. Air conditioning (not in every room). Met people who have been coming back for many many years.

Petite villa calme - Accueil et servic excellent

Très beau lieu, calme. Piscine, petit déjeuner et climatisation très appréciés. Proximité plage et petits commerces. Personnel chaleureux et souriant. Service de location ou réservation taxi géré par le personnel de la Villa. Excellent séjour.

Nuestra estadia todo bien salvo unas cosillas pequeñas el agua era muy salada y lo otra cosa es que las sabanas ylas toallas eran asperas algo incomodo al dormir y secarse el cuerpo. Lo demas excelente la gente muy amable y cordial el ambiente muy tranquilo

Black beach

Very comfortable and nice friendly hotel . Quiet area, just couple minutes walk from black sand beach and good tavernas! I will choose the same hotel next time!

Excellente étape de transit

Bonne adresse au calm, pour visiter Santorin, à 5´ de la plage et avec une petite piscine mais aussi parfaite étape pour rejoindre une autre île. Comptez 25 euro de taxi de l'aéroport.

Não recomendo!

Hotel simples, proprietária simpática, localização ruim. Perto da praia porém a região parece um deserto, muito feio e com aspecto de abandonado. O maior problema do hotel foi o banheiro, sem chuveiro, só chuveirinho, cortinas curtas que deixavam o banheiro ensopado, mas o pior era a água: salgada!!! Tanto do chuveirinho quanto da pia. Absolutamente desagradável.

Find another place.....

The hotel is located 5 minutes away from the beach which is great. There is a 24 hour bakery around the corner that is great as well. Hotel cleanliness is also good. That's where the good stops. Beds will give you back pain. Out of the 4 nights we stayed there, we had hot water only 1 night. The water filter system probably has never been changed therefor you will be using bottled water to brush your teeth. They also advertise that they have wifi. The only place it works is in the reception area. And that's if their kids haven't disconnected it to play their video games. So if you need to log on for anything. Your better off going do the beach to log on. Overall. I would not recommend this to any person traveling to santorini. I've come to santorini nervous times as well as several Greek islands. This was my only bad experience.

5 min till stranden

Mysigt hotell med 5 minuters gångavstånd till stranden där massor av restauranger ligger. Rummen var rena med mycket bra och tyst luftkonditionering, dock var sängen något hård. Personalen var trevliga och mycket hjälpsamma. Mataffär och busshållplats även de ca 5 minuter bort. Skulle gärna bo här igen!

Petite villa près de la plage

Petite villa modeste, très bien tenue par une famille. C'est propre, bien situé et la piscine et sa terrasse sont très jolies. La salle de bain est minuscule et la douche éclabousse partout, le déjeuner est bon, mais identique les 3 jours de notre séjour. Nous recommandons néanmoins cette villa pour un court séjour.

Simple, pleasant and clean but HARD TO FIND!

Small, simple place a few blocks from the beach. The staff were friendly. But I had MAJOR challenges finding the place. My GPS (on three different navigation apps) showed it in the wrong place. So make sure you know exactly how to get there in advance, because the signs are TINY. You will miss it. Overall, a decent property if you just need a cheap and clean, but somewhat sparse place to lay your head at night.

Very nice and friendly family business

We stayed there for 2 nights and my sister got sick during the stay. The staff was very friendly and helped with medicine, food and whatever we needed. The rooms are very clean and the place is beautiful. They offered a very nice breakfast for very good price.

Trevligt mindre hotell.

Trevligt mindre hotell ganska nära stranden. Frukosten kunde varit bättre, men vi fick väldigt fin service under vår vistelse.

Amazing service!

We stayed at the hotel for four nights. It was really a fantastic stay. Great value! The room was cleaned daily with new towels. The hotel has a nice pool and is literally five minutes walk away from the beach and grocery stores. The service is over the top! The hotel owners are super friendly and very willing to accommodate. Best service I've ever gotten at any hotel of higher star rating. If you are looking for a budget accommodation in Perissa, I have no problem recommending Villa Clio.

Clean, A/C, 5 minute walk to the black sand beach!

This hotel is in Perissa, the southern east of Santorini. The family who runs this hotel is really nice. It's only a 5 minute walk to the beach with many restaurants and markets. A nice pool. A/C in the room and daily housekeeping service. Would definitely stay here again if I return to Perissa. Things to keep in mind about Perissa. If you want to go to Oia, Fira or Imergolvi, you should rent a car to get around. The water from the sink and shower is filtered sea water so it's not drinkable and leaves a residue on your skin (hey, it's island life).

Well maintained quite property

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Clio. It was exactly what I needed to adjust to the island life in Santorini. While I was only there one night, there were many guests there for weeks. The family owned hotel maintained everything to pristine conditions. They were over accommodating, ( I arrived early) and got my room cleaned and ready by 9am. I chose to not want go out for lunch and dinner and they made me a beautiful Greek Salad so I could sit and enjoy the pool and the night. Just a wonderful experience and in 10 minute on foot you can be on the Perissa Beach if you like. It sits back from the main road so it is quite and peaceful.

very convenient location to Black Beach

Overall a nice place to stay. Our room was facing the swimming pool. The host is nice too. Very close to black beach, about 5 minutes walk. There are many restaurants alone the beach. It's also close to The Big Discount Supermarket and bus station, about 5 minutes walk too. The hotel also provides breakfast with a cost of Euro 6/person. The host didn't mention, so we thought it was included in the room rate. But it wasn't so bad. It came with a boiled egg, ham and cheese toast, white bread with butter and fruit jams, a glass of juice/milk and coffee/tea. You can refill your drink with no extra cost. A relaxing breakfast beside the swimming pool.

Perfectly Nice Hotel

This was a last minute holiday for us and we had limited choice for our budget, but this hotel was a great find. Its not too far our of Perissa ( it really sits in Limnes) and dont rely on the location maps on certain websites as it is not on the right of the water park, it sits well behind it! Pool area is nice and clean and we had a room with a view towards the mountains,perfect. Short walk to the beach and bars. We stayed here for 3 nights, we had a car which we explored the south of the island with and up as far as Pyrgos ( well worth a visit) we then spent 2 nights in Pension Stella in Karthedos, this was also a nice base for exploring the centre of Santorini. Pension Stella is a decent half hour walk from Fira ( the capital) but there is a bus stop at the top of the road. our road trip recommendations are Monolothos beach, locals use it. Kamari beach good but lots of tourists. ( Beds are free if you eat in the taverna's) . Art Space is a must visit, fabulous winery restored in the caves. Our final stay was in Marcos Rooms in Oia, this was the most expensive accommodation, rustic with great shared balcony and central location. a basic breakfast was included in the price.

Must Stay at Villa Clio. PERFECT place.

Villa Clio is a family run hotel and they are spectacular. My boyfriend and I were there for 2 nights and loved every minute of it. They provide breakfast in the morning, there is a lovely pool with big comfortable lounge chairs, and a friendly staff. The location is great as well. It is a 7 minute walk to the main road that leads to the beach and it is a 5 minute walk to the main road that runs throughout the island. The main road is where you can catch the bus that will take you to Fira, Oia, and other great places on the island. Villa Clio was great and we can't wait to stay there again!
