We had a great stay at Villa Markezinis, the front of desk staff George was great he was the nicest receptionist we have ever had. The location was nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend and would come back.

George was the best! He helps us with everything! Smooth check in, great welcome drinks, great rooms, pool was super clean, great recommendations and the best he arrange our airport transfer. We will love to come again!

Great hotel near the beach with friendly service

A small but great hotel close to the beach. The service was really great and really friendly. We arrived early and they made sure our room was cleaned fast so that we could get it before normal check in. A large pool was great.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Markezinis, George at receiption could not have been more helpful! Great recommendations on things to do and places to go, helped us with ATV rental and transfers to and from the airport. The hotel was cleaned to a great standard every day and the pool area was a lovely addition. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Santorini who wants to be close to the beach and only a short drive from the main cities.

Hands down our best stay during our trip to Greece! 100% recommend this hotel to get away from the hustle and bustle of Santorini but be within walking distance to a BEAUTIFUL stretch of beach with restaurants and bars all along. The highlight of our stay would have to be George — so incredibly friendly and helpful during our whole stay. Prior to coming, we read the other reviews mentioning him and we were still blown away by his service and attitude. We stan George 4ever!!!

This was a beautiful and quaint little spot with clean, spacious rooms and a stunning and secluded pool. The manager was very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. Breakfast was quick and delicious. Markezini (the cat) was adorable even if she was mostly too hot to move!

Konstantinos was super helpful and very nice. The accommodation was modern and nice looking. The pool was fantastic. About a 25 minute walk to Perissa but only a 5 minute walk to Black Beach. A really great spot if you want to be in a quiet area with a great beach and are happy to drive or catch transport to Thira / Oia. Would definitely stay here again.

Let me tell you about George!! Accommodating, thoughtful, knowledgeable and attentive. The rooms were incredibly clean and spacious and the pool was a great bonus. It is down the street from many restaurants and beach side taverns! Will definitely be coming back and would absolutely recommend!

George was waiting for our late arrival and explained throughly the stay (wifi, safe etc), he arranged hotel transfers & hire of ATV. Hotel location is perfect, 5 mins to beach with everything you need for a beach holiday (market, local buses to red beach & Fira). Very comfortable spaces room - more than I expected ! Good working aircon, fridge minibar, shower, outdoor sitting, drying area, pool towels. Highly recommended.

We had such an amazing stay at this villa! It exceeded our expectations especially for having such an affordable price. The place was very clean and private. The concierge helped us with everything. He made our experience so smooth and enjoyable. Such an amazing experience, we were so sad to leave. I definitely recommend this stay to anyone wanting to visit santorini.

Good location good staff good facilities

Lovely big upper room with balcony Great breakfasts and nice pool area. Attention to detail and quality in services provided - eg large bath towels, toiletries, decent toilet paper, hairdryer. Shout out to housekeeping - great job but maybe look at reducing linen changes and apparently recycle plastics/cans. Guest choice re linen changes could reduce costs and environmental impact.(ie daily not necessary) Fridge in room with mini bar. euromarket busstop and supermarket <5 mins, likewise beach and main strip of restaurants from Perissa to Perivolos. Check out Lava taverna. Enjoyed a relaxing stay - thank you Konstantinos

My stay at Hotel Villa Markezinis was great. George was highly responsive, accommodating and helped make excellent choices for day touring. He helped to me book everything. The hotel itself was very quiet and a great low key space away if you're looking for a little escape. Great choice and value.

Nicely located to beach, bus stop and supermarket.

We stayed here for five and found everything to be near enough perfect. The room, the pool and the staff was first class and the attention to detail was second to none. The staff could not do enough for us, making sure everything was ok. Would definitely recommend it but would like to keep it a secret at the same time.

There was mineral and limescale buildup on the sink faucet and shower head with greenish mineral staining and buildup around many of the nozzles. There was moisture damage, and mold or mildew in bathroom. The fixtures have not been descaled for a long time. There was discoloration and signs of prolonged moisture at corner of toilet. There were visible cracks and patching in walls. The towels were very very rough, worn, and flattened. They were heavily used and reused with frayed edges, loose threads and fuzz with an unpleasant smell. The room and bathroom also had a very unpleasant smell. It was the worse room I have ever stayed in. It was terrible!
