"If you are looking for impeccable service, plush accommodations, and a peaceful stay, this is your hotel. I am writing this as I sit on a down couch overlooking the rolling hills on a winter, but sunny day with the Christmas tree twinkling next to me. The staff here has been top notch and has gone above and beyond for my family. You have a choice in pillows, comfy down comforters, plush towels in a beautiful old world style hotel. I would love to see the hotel in spring and summer as I can only imagine the pool and sun deck to be superb. Do not hesitate to stay at this wonderful establishment. "

"The spa was great but I’ve been at hotels were the spa was included with the room. Also, the eggs other than scrambled would have been great. The staff was very cordial and helpful and the room was always kept clean and in good order. "

Room was clean and spacious and the bathroom had a great sunken bath. Bed was extremely comfortable. Great location-only a ten minute walk from the town centre and train station. "Really lovely hotel, way nicer than we anticipated. We booked this purely as a stopover so we could catch an early train and didn’t expect it to be such a nice hotel. The entrance area was really nice, staff were friendly on check in and whilst the room was small it was spotless and comfortable."
