Staff were really helpful, providing us with a map and recommendations for restaurants. I especially appreciated the invitation for the wine tasting. "The property is in a good location. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance as are the main tourist attractions. The hotel is modern and very tastefully decorated. Our room was clean, the AC worked well and the rain shower in the bathroom was great. The hotel has a private courtyard pool that was perfect for a plunge at the end of a hot day. The staff were attentive, friendly and easy to deal with. We only ate the buffet style breakfast which had many options and was nicely set out and prepared. We would definitely recommend this property for any length of stay."

"The staff were all very kind and helpful. The hotel is a beautiful historic convent near many wonderful historicsites, including a Roman temple right beside the hotel. The pool and surrounding cafe/bar area are gorgeous. The rooms are small and could use a renovation; our AC units were loud in the early am and the shower & bath are a bit awkward/cramped. It was a great space for us with a grown child because she was able to stay in a separate living area. For the price and to see Evora, I highly recommend."
