"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this location. Originally we were only going to stay one night but then ended up staying an additional two nights. The property was beautiful and conveniently located. The whole staff treated us like family specially Agnes. She was amazing. She was so helpful and even booked our dinner reservations one night. "This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. The ( included) breakfasts are served at 9am, but the staff are very helpful and did provide breakfast earlier when we asked. The house overlooks Regua across the River, it’s only a 20-minute walk into that town which has a couple of good restaurants for dinner. The town of Lamego is further, about a 15-minute...

"Cet endroit est tout simplement magnifique. Un peu difficile à trouver car c'est vraiment au milieu de nulle part mais rendu sur place, c'est un vrai havre de paix. "Spectacular B&B! The suite apartment was stunning, large and comfortable. Sparkling clean and also so beautifully decorated! The balcony has a beautiful view. The common areas are also amazing for hanging by the pool or grabbing a drink. The service was also incredible! Breakfast was delicious and very complete with lots of local charm. "

"The area was gorgeous and the view could not be beat. We made fresh orange juice and lemonade from the citrus trees, walked in the vineyard and cork forest, and enjoyed the quiet. The downside was the drive- it was a bit far from town and needs to be driven in daylight- do not attempt at night (single lane, tight curves, no guardrails, very rural). The house was spacious but could use some upgrades."
